Computer Skills Administrator

Description
Icebolethu is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the Permanent position of a Computer Skills Administrator for our Mthwalume Computer Skills Centre by Icebolethu Foundation. The incumbent will be required to perform tasks supporting the Skills Centre.
Please note that this is both an Internal and external advert, thus applies to Fixed Term Contracts, Casual staff and external possible candidates.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Computer Certificate
• Relevant Tertiary qualification is advantageous
Experience and Knowledge required
• Minimum of 12 Months in relevant administration function
• Knowledge of Microsoft office packages

Key Performance Areas
• To serve customers – Administrative officer will be the first point of contact for customers at the Centre.
• Welcome Customers, sign register and allocate them their computer for their session.
• Assist customers with general enquiries about the Icebolethu and/or the business
• To maintain the skills centre – Administrative officer is typically in charge of office maintenance and upkeep.
• To ensure that the skills centre is always a pleasant and professional work environment.
• Directing information – Administrative officer helps to sort and file all incoming correspondence and mail received at the office.
• Data entry- Administrative officer performs clerical duties, such as entering data and maintaining records.
• General- Administrative officer is required to assist all customers that require assistance with all the equipment available to them in the Centre.
• Submit weekly reports to Foundation Manager and attend weekly status meeting for planning ahead.
• To ensure a high level of customer service within the area of responsibility.
• To report any Client Complaint or comments to Manager.
• To carry out any reasonable request from any member of the Management team.

Assistant Manager: Remuneration and Benefits

Icebolethu Group is currently in search of an Assistant Manager: Remuneration and Benefits who will develop, maintain, communicate and manage remuneration and benefits strategy, policies, procedures and practices in order to support the Organization`s strategic objectives by enabling the business to attract and retain talented individuals whilst ensuring maximum benefit realisation for the organization and continuously enhancing the Employee Value Proposition
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications.
- Degree in Commerce / Human Sciences
- Postraduate Degree in Commerce /Human Sciences with Statistics is preferred
- Registration with South African Rewards Association as a Remuneration Specialist and/or South African Board for People Practice is preferred
- Global Remuneration Practitioner (GRP) certification is essential
Experience and Knowledge required
- 8-10 years of experience in Remuneration and Rewards / Benefits management in a corporate environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory/ managerial role
- Knowledge of all relevant employment and remuneration legislation and statutory requirements
- Knowledge of corporate HR reward systems, practices and structures
- Understanding of current Tax and Labour legislation including governance and risk principles
- Exposure in remuneration analyses, modelling and policy development
- Job evaluation system, preferably Paterson Grading System
- Advanced Excel, MS Office and MS Project

Formulation and Implementation of remuneration strategy, policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate the job evaluations / gradings through the job evaluation committee to ensure internal and external equity
- Communicate and educate / train relevant stakeholders regarding job evaluation systems and practices.
- Implement and manage job grading structure
- Update and maintain organization structures and headcount reports
- Implement the ratified job grading outcomes
Managing Financial resources
- Compile, submit, monitor and manage the approved Remuneration and Benefits budget.
- Ensure that the Remuneration and Benefits spend is in line with relevant legislation
Managing Human Resources

- Develop and implement Remuneration and Benefits Strategy and Operational Plan
- Performance manage Remuneration and Benefits Team
- Develop and implement the Individual Development Plans where necessary for the Remuneration and Benefits Team
Operational Support and Advice
- Recommend salary review guidelines to HR Leadership, EXCO and Human Resource and Remuneration Committee
- Recommend salary review guidelines to HR Leadership, EXCO and Human Resource and Remuneration Committee
- Facilitate the entire salary review process, including training, documentation, distribution and consolidation of review spreadsheets
- Prepare schedules for payroll upload and staff letters
- Prepare salary review statistics, graphs and cost analyses
- Support the Group HR Manager in preparing submissions to the Executive Committee, Social Ethics Committee and Remuneration Committee and Board of Directors
- Communicate changes in legislative policies and facilitating changes appropriate to Company processes
- Conduct ad-hoc internal and external benchmarking exercises as and when requested by management and leadership.
Management of Payroll and maintenance of Human Resource Data Integrity and Reporting
- Maintain an effective and efficient relationship with external service providers by having up to date service level agreements in order to ensure improved total employee rewards of Icebolethu employees
- Develop and implement effective payroll management procedures and systems
- Manage payroll processes, administration of performance reviews, salary reviews and incentive schemes
- Optimize self- service / automated processes
- Manage the benefits of the Company and continuously look at innovative ways to update / improve benefits offerings to employees
- Ensure legislative tax and benefits compliance and ensure timeous implementation in payroll
- Oversee maintenance of high-level security and integrity of Human Resource Management Data system.
- Co-ordinate, prepare and submit HR Reports for the attention of Group HR Manager
- Address and effect corrective measures on identified Audit and operational risks.
