The Organisation requires the services of a Practitioner: Learning and Development in the Human Capital Management Department. This position will be based at the Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

Requirements:

  • Be in possession of a Degree/National Diploma in Human Resources Development, OD-ETP qualificaiton and SDF certificate.
  • Should have 3 to 5 years of experience in learning and development.
  • Knowledge of relevant skills development legislation such as SDA, SDLA, EEA, B-BBEE, LRA, and SAQA Act.
  • Knowledge of National Skills Development Strategy.
  • Knowledge of Skills development facilitations.
  • Understanding of SANParks policies and reporting framework.
  • Knowledge of good Corporate Governance practices.
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Planning and organising skills.
  • Problem-solving.
  • Project management and presentation skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Listening skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Making rule-based and analytical decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collate TNAs and skills audit submissions.
  • Complie a corporate annual training plan.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Learning and Development programmes (e.g. ABET, Learnership and Internship, etc.)
  • Compile and ensure accurate and complete data for regulatory reporting.
  • Assit in quality assuring learning and development programmes.
  • Render administrative and technical support on all learning and development initiatives to the unit.
  • Post, update and maintain learning information.
  • Manage the learner management system
  • Manage other learning and development-related databases.
  • Coordinate and administer all divisional bursary schemes.
  • Manage the training tracking tool and compile reports.
  • Coordinate the compilation of the organisation’s workplace skills plan and annual training report.
  • Coordinate the logistics for internal governance and consultative structures.
  • Provide skills development facilitator support to the Manager: Learning and Development.
  • Coordinate effective implementation of training programmes (Induction, MDP, RPL, Internships and Learnership.
  • Coordinate effective implementation of special projects ( co-funded/collaborations).
  • Collate information from different sources for project reports as per funder requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external resources to accomplish assignments within given deadlines.
  • Assist with the implementation of the skills audit project.
  • Assits with Impact Asseement of learning and development programmes/courses/projects etc.

Salary: R 364 893 – R 596 000
