We are looking for a suitable qualified candidate to fill the above position. The position is based in Durban Head office.
DUTIES
Supports Human Resources department by screening applicants
Prepare payroll by, distributing checks, and maintaining payroll records
Provide orientation for new employees by providing information packs, explaining benefit programs and obtaining signatures for documents
Maintain Human Resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications
Tracking staff leave and prepare leave report and absenteeism trends
Administer employee benefit program including staff savings, and disability programs by advising employees of eligibility, providing application information, helping with form completion, verifying submission, and notifying employees of approvals
Documents and track Human Resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records i.e. provident, withdrawal, personal vault , onboarding employment packs
Schedule meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and department heads.
Accomplishes Human Resources department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in HRM or equivalent
1-2 years working in admin, preferably HR environment.
Written and verbal communication
Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases.
