Job Description:

As the HR Reporting Analyst you required the effectiveness of managing, planning, control and sustainability of Data, Payroll Execution & Org and management processes. Manage the effective integration of the Payroll and Data processes end to end for all fusion payrolls such as  EMEA GSS 

More of your responsibilities will include:

  • SAP Data and Reports extraction
  • Responsible for quality and accuracy of the reporting output of the HR Reporting function which includes, testing the accuracy of reports against data sources and escalation of inaccurate data where inconsistencies are highlighted
  • Identify inaccurate, incomplete and/or inconsistent data sets due to data analysis being carried-out and escalate to the HR Reporting Coordinator for further investigation and escalation to the relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for high quality reporting products shared with relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to an efficient month-end process including, data extractions, transformation, analysis, packaging in the appropriate reporting tool, and reporting
  • Reports are produced across multiple Anglo-American Business Units
  • Participate in data analytics efforts to source and provide data required for analysis, reporting, and presenting analytical results

Qualifications:

  • Relevant diploma in Business, Finance, Information Systems, HR, or related field is a requirement
  • Tertiary degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, HR, or related field is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • 1-3 years data extraction, analysis, and reporting experience
  • Payroll and Human Resources system experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of SAP systems is advantageous
  • MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel (advanced) and MS PowerPoint)
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • MS Power BI and Visier knowledge is advantageous

Job Description:

We are currently seeking to employ a Truck Operator OC to join our Platinum family at our Mogalakwena Operation. This is a key role within the Mining team where you will be responsible to: 

  • Attend the pre-shift line-up and complete daily pre-check inspection
  • Report any defects observed to Dispatch Controller
  • Refuel truck, top up oil and tyre pressures as required
  • Log onto truck before operation activities commence
  • Receive assignments via computer panel and follows instructions
  • Maintain proper following distances and monitor condition of roads
  • Communicates with other operators and supervisor via radio system to co-ordinate activities
  • Utilizes graphic console to obtain current assignments
  • Ensures trucks are operated according to safety and health specifications
  • Identify and appoint spotter as and when required
  • Open two-way communications with team members and supervisor
  • Provide support to team members in job execution
  • Complete equipment / shift change checklists and distribute data correctly

This role in the Mining Department at a B3 Level, reporting to the Production Foreman

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Haul truck certificate (Rigid dump truck/haul truck)
  • Valid driving license code 08 or 14

Experience:

  • One-year Truck Operator operation experience

Job Description:

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1.Safety: Create a safety culture through productive and authorized operational systems/processes that allow all employees (including contracting partners) to provide their outputs in a risk-controlled environment  
2. Performance and Delivery  

  • Prepare financial reporting on a monthly basis (AA plc reporting pack – Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) pack) and interim and year end AA plc reporting pack (HFM Stat notebook).
  • Assistance with statutory financial reporting of the AAP financial statements on a bi-annual basis
  • Preparation and review of ad hoc month end tasks.
  • Changing plans and schedules to minimize the effect of unexpected problems.
  • Standardise reporting and implement processes.
  • Assist in new information system design and implementation.
  • Prepare AA plc monthly reporting pack (HFM) ensuring key issues are highlighted with focus on key changes and trend analysis.
  • Liaising with AA plc in resolving queries on the financial data set
  • Throughout the year, analyse financial performance, research and resolve issues. This could include identifying the impact of operating anomalies, adverse financial trends, changes in policies and reporting requirements, and evaluating the impact on reported results.
  • Liaise effectively with key business contacts and build up strong working relationships (e.g., Business Units operations, AA plc group reporting team and performance reporting team, as well as internal and external auditors).
  • Management of the Platinum Chart of Accounts and interaction with financial and performance reporting systems and processes.
  • Share and re-apply best practice in financial reporting, including developing efficiencies by way of identifying areas for improvement and using technology to improve the current reporting processes.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of the AAP results to AA plc (HFM reporting pack) and externally (Listed Annual Financial Statements).
  • Preparing technical accounting papers.

3. People & Teams: Create a purpose-led, high-performing culture within the discipline that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity, act as a role model and actively engage as a team member in all team processes.
4. Compliance: Ensure discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements, Anglo American standards, finance and accounting governance.

This role is a Band 6 reporting to the Manager Technical Accounting

Qualifications:

You will need the following:

  • Chartered accountant, CA (SA), or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification (Advantageous)
  • Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license

Experience

  • This work involves analysis, reflection and the use of data over a longer period of time in order to anticipate problems. It requires knowledge of the overall system and focuses on the direct application and improvement of systems.
  • 5-8 years’ post article experience.
  • Expert knowledge in financial accounting and reporting. Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in SAP and HFM.
  • Proficient skills in applying practical application of financial solutions and initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Mining experience (beneficial)

  • Registering all supplier related information on FG SAP
  • Assist the supplier representative to obtain the correct training and system access.

  • Guiding suppliers to upload correct, verified supporting documentation for SHE files.
  • Linking of workers to specific scopes of work within the system.
  • Migration of all worker data required for specific site access, including master data, training records, medical fitness determination records and access dates.
