  • The SHAFT CONTROLLER reports to the shaft foreman. The incumbent is responsible for the co- ordination of shafts hoisting systems, which includes the unblocking of blockages/ restrictions in chutes, & ore passes. Shaft Controller will be responsible for the blasting operations when required to open blocked chutes and ore passes. This role is responsible for the safe handling and storage of underground explosives.
  • Daily inspection of the silos, vibrating feeders and chutes.
