The role:

The Business Improvement Specialist is responsible for the implementation the Business Improvement Strategy at the operation by facilitating future initiative planning and business case development and the detailed analyses required to support these. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Implement the Business Improvement mandate at operation by facilitating initiatives/business case development and tracking BI improvement
Ensure conformance to governance and project sign-off by identifying project risks and effective management and tracking of projects and value delivery
Develop and implement communication and change strategy per initiative through facilitating BI communication at the operation and ensuring buy in and commitment on initiatives
Contribute to the Operational Team cohesion and effectiveness
Manage the control room and assist in compiling daily production

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field (NQF Level 7)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Mining, Process or Maintenance Engineering field within the Mining industry, of which 3 years should preferably be in Coal Mining in a Supervisory role
Minimum of 3 years Business Improvement experience or a related field
Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience
Knowledge of the Mining industry and relevant legislation including the Mine Health and Safety Act
Good working knowledge of the Coal Mining Process for both Underground and Opencast
Abreast of best practices and new technologies
Knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering
Good knowledge of change management methodologies

Land Securement Administrator

Job Description

The Role

To take ownership for all land owner related information, database management, this may include Landfolio software

Key responsibilities include:

Management of all landowner information.
Manage landowner documentation. This includes title deeds, resolutions, leases, servitudes, power of attorney documentation and other consents.
Liaise with Landowners / Project contracts to ensure up to date information management.
Access, update and manage the land management system/s.
Implement effective solutions for the management of documents, either hard and/or soft copy
Assist the Land Acquisition and Permitting team with permitting and other types of approvals, as may be required.
Management of document provision to relevant Internal and External entities

Stakeholder Management & Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with land acquisition and Development team.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as Local and District Municipalities, Governmental Departments and contracted consultants.
Ensure document management and submissions are complete and accurate.

Reporting and Communication:

Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports.
Be able to quickly supply landowner information as required
Provide regular updates to senior management regarding application status and areas of concern.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Process Adherence and Best Practices:

Apply Seriti Green systems and processes to project development tasks.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in document control.

Team Collaboration and Training:

Assist the Development Director, Land Acquisition and Project Managers in ensuring forms and documents are managed, easy to locate and up to date.
Mentor and guide team members, providing necessary training and support on current and new systems.
Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Experience & Qualifications

Office Administration qualification/ Document management OR related field
Proven 5+ years administration experience in the Renewable Energy Industry or large infrastructure projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing large amounts of data and documentation.
Good understanding of property management and/or rezoning requirements and/or contract management.
Excellent project data management skills.

Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Excellent written, verbal, skills.

The role:

The role is overseeing several survey teams and functions by being a leader that plans their daily activities, organizes manpower and equipment and controls the teams output to clients. Assists the Survey Manager with quality control of survey data and releasing of correct and accurate reports. Establish directional control and measurement of volumes in the workings of the mine, opencast or underground.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Responsible for ensuring that request for surveying and maps received from clients are attended to in time and executed efficiently and safely.
Taking over the duties of senior surveyors during their absence to ensure continuous operation of the survey functions.
Using CAD and volumetric design software approved by the business and do quality checks on 3D survey models built and updated by senior surveyors and surveyors in the department.
Do check calculations to verify the volumes and tonnages stored in the survey database by Senior Surveyors and Surveyors do comply with standards.
Compile and verify weekly and month end reports before submitting to Survey Manager for endorsement.
Ensure all members of the teams under his or her responsibility comply with all safety requirements of the mine and the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Keep inventory and monitor condition of survey equipment and vehicles assigned to survey teams.
Be a team leader responsible to build team spirit, foster customer relations, resolve conflict and maintain order and discipline of survey teams.

Requirements:

BSc, BTech, National Diploma, National Higher Diploma in Mine Surveying
Chamber of Mines (CoM) Advanced Surveying Certificate
50% ticket complete of the MSCC, must have passed legislation subject
