·         Follow basic health and Safety practices underground

·         Establish and maintain constructive working relations

·         Achieve quality and quantity outputs

·         Work according to Standards and Procedures

·         Check conditions of equipment before start of work and report to Supervisor

·         Comply with legal instructions

·         Assist with face preparation

·         Support an underground workplace by means of stick support, anchors placed in drilled holes

·         Comply with support procedures

·         Repetitive breakdowns are eliminated

·         Take basic care and maintenance of tools and equipment

·         Certificate of Competency
