Microsoft SQL Server Developer

Description:

• SQL Developer will be responsible for developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL databases. Ideal candidate must possess extensive experience (refer qualifications) in performing their duties on extra-large transactional and BI databases and person should be hands-on with SSIS and SSRS. Successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the SQL Server Warehouse, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modelling in support of multiple development teams. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or any Information Technology related programmes.
• 8+ years of experience and at least 5 years of experience performing SQL Development particularly with T/SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize complex queries for ad hoc and reoccurring requests to manipulate and extract data from SQL Server, conduct tests, debugs and deploy.
• Implements complex integration, monitoring and reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI.
• SQL Querry performance optimization
• Analyse, validate and present the data in the required form
• Interfacing with other organizations to identify and troubleshoot connectivity issues for web based interfaces fat client connection using SSIS, SQL Jobs and API.
• Validate data integrity and analyse and resolve all daily data issues with the business units.
• Provide consultation and data extraction/access for data modelling and for analytics team.
• Monitor data synchronization to various databases.
• Support ad-hoc data interrogation and reporting as needed.
