Finance Administrator

Temporary Position X 2

Salary: R430 335 per annum (Total-Cost-To-Company)
Duration: Three (3) Months

Job Purpose: To perform and ensure the efficient execution of divisional financial administration and that related financial controls within the ETDP SETA are complied with. The successful candidates will report to the Finance Manager. The positions will be based at the ETDP SETA Head Office, Johannesburg.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience: National Diploma in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting (NQF Level 6).

• Two (2) years experience working in a finance unit, processing invoices and accruals.
• General Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act and National Treasury regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review discretionary grants transactions and supporting evidence for the previous (2022-23) and current (2023- 24) financial year.
• Ensure that discretionary grant transactions are accurately recorded in the correct accounting period.
• Process of correcting Journals.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships with customers (both internal and external) towards rendering the highest quality of services.
• Ability to identify and solve problems creatively, while demonstrating high integrity, aligned with ETDP SETA core values.
• Control of documentation to ensure easy access, traceability, and comprehensive record keeping of all documentation for the Finance Unit.
• Any ad-hoc work delegated by the Finance Manager and/or the CFO.
