POSITION OBJECTIVE:

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Network Planning Manager will be responsible for the formulation of the road traffic flow, land use and economic information required to establish single and multi-year road traffic master plan. He/She is also required to report on road network demand, level of service and congestion, and to enhance and maintain the SANRAL road network travel demand model to ensure pursuance of SANRAL’s objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering
  • Must be registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA.
  • At least ten years post first engineering degree experience
  • At least five years’ experience in road traffic origin / destination surveys, mathematical traffic models and network demand modelling.

ADVANTAGEOUS:

  • A Master’s degree specializing in Traffic / Transportation will be an added advantage.

Graduate Programs Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To create a skills pipeline that will ensure the sustainability of the agency through continuous training and development programmes, through both formal and informal training interventions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design Programmes

  • Develop and maintain framework of the respective development programmes.
  • Develop, implement and maintain mentoring programs and in line with SANRAL’s strategy and Transformation Policy.
  • Engage the internal and external mentors leads timeously to ensure that programmes implemented and candidates needs are met.
  • Engage and build relationships with external bodies of practice and accreditation.
  • Leverage third Party relationships to provide mentorship and opportunities that SANRAL cannot cater for internally.
  • Define Mentorship requirements and standards and roll out capability building for identified mentors.
  • Ensure design of all programmes are done in accordance with budget guidelines.

Programme Management 

  • Ensure the tracking of each candidate’s progression data is tracked and managed support solutions are implemented to address general queries.
  • Troubleshoot and proactively solution frequent pain points and issues to improve learning experience.
  • Optimise existing programmes in order to drive more fluid, simper transactional process with greater digital utilisation.
  • Provide an oversight of entire TEA programme.
  • Leverage institutional funding to gain resources for employee learnings, industry development and graduate development.

Programme integration 

  • Engage HR and Engineering Executive to ensure there is clear understanding of pipeline requirements and integration back into broader business on completion of programme.
  • Accountable for reporting on programmes end to end to SANRAL and external bodies.
