INTRODUCTION
The JSE is looking for a client centric, passionate and energetic person to provide first line support for eternal as well as internal clients by telephonic contact and email for various JSE general knowledge, supporting members and trading clients with trading data.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Client Service Consultant, you will be required to:
- Deliver high levels of client service at all times by answering all calls in a professional manner within the required time, and direct calls to the correct department
- Portray professional image of the JSE when answering switchboard call
- Ensure that all agreed external client service satisfaction objectives are met by tracking and adhering to agreed follow-ups, consistency of action and words as well as to ensure that the team has in depth knowledge to provide expert advice
- Build strong sustainable relationships with the Head of CSC, Exco, other divisional heads and managers, peers, direct reports and all JSE employees through professional interaction
- Participate in the departments projects and initiatives
- Reduce operational vulnerability in departments by reviewing existing polices and identifying process optimizations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Introduction to Financial Markets Certificate
- Diploma in Financial Markets would be advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years call agent experience in customer service

INTRODUCTION
To execute and ensure clearing and settlement of transactions in centrally cleared instruments by monitoring and assisting members with the interpretation of regulation, policies and procedures to ensure that clearing and settlements take place and are aligned with the JSE Clear rules and regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Results Delivery
- Apply cost effectiveness principles in everyday delivery to contribute to achievement of JSE Clear financial targets
- Provide input in the development of a post-trade service for the JSE Clear based on new, integrated vision for JSE Clear
- Examines materials, products, or work outputs for quality, accuracy, and completeness; responds quickly to correct quality problems
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Assist in clearing and settlement queries within the Derivatives Operations team
- Interact professionally with all internal and external stakeholders by being objective and fair in the approach to provide feedback and information regarding clearing and settlement of centrally cleared transactions
- Maintain a relationship of mutual respect with external and internal stakeholders by demonstrating informed consideration of issues to uphold the regulatory reputation of the JSE Clear
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the efficiency of the systems to better the productivity of the clearing and settlement specialist
- Develop and sustain relationships with service provider/vendor/supplier administrative staff to facilitate the effective procurement to pay process with service providers/vendors/suppliers
Process Management
- Manage own delivery against agreed deliverables and set timelines, identify obstacles to delivery and take appropriate action where required to ensure deadlines are met timeously
- Identify obstacles and major challenges through continuous evaluation of processes and standards in order to ensure effective operational alignment to strategic priorities
- Report on all clearing and settlement transactions daily to ensure that all issues have been identified and concluded so that all objectives are met
- Maintain a documentation management system so that references on all decisions made are accessible for clearing and settlement
- Make suggestions to change current processes which could enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the clearing and settlement specialist’s ability to achieve the goals and objectives of JSE Clear
- Communicate to members on clearing and settlement queries by providing correct information to them on the interpretation of clearing and settlement rules and regulations so that clearing, and settlements transactions take place within the required timeline
- Address all queries relating to clearing and settlements by analysing and researching the information provided in order to find solutions
- Escalate unresolved queries to senior management to ensure that all risk is mitigated and that market credibility for the JSE Clear is protected
- Manage the derivatives s clearing and settlement obligations of trading and Clearing members to ensure JSE Clear credibility in the market
- Ensure that appropriate procedures are implemented, and that necessary action is taken to facilitate the clearing and settlement of all transactions in centrally cleared instruments in accordance with the rules and directives to achieve the objectives of the JSE Clear
- Advise the trading and clearing members of any issue that may potentially impact on the clearing and settlement of the transactions to proactively act to ensure clearing and settlement
- Participate in testing of releases and enhancements on clearing solutions

Results Delivery
- Craft HR Operations business plan to ensure delivery of focus areas for the year in support of HR strategy
- Formalise the HR Operations team budget to achieve objectives set
- Manage HR allocated budget by tracking costs (Approximate value of budget).
- Apply cost effectiveness principles in planning and delivery to contribute to achievement of HR Ops financial targets like reduce procurement costs through negotiations with external service providers.
- Provide specialist input and solutions to relevant information in relation to operational and compliance needs across the HR team.
- Ensure data integrity and management of policies, employee information, HR Operations processes, financial transactions such as payroll and team payments to improve sustainability, client service and mitigate risks
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with HR Team through providing practical operational solutions
- Assist HR Business Partners to inform Business Units on legislative & policy changes through communication by facilitation of meetings etc

Process Management

- Ensure maintenance of employee data integrity through management of HR Information system and processes
- Design, implement and manage HR Operations processes by staying abreast of current compliance, legislation changes and interpreting policies and procedures
- Ensure benefit administration complies to timelines and standards and contribute to a great on boarding and working experience for new and existing employees.
- Implement and execute operational procedures to meet organisation, and external vendor payroll deadlines.
- Comply to legislation through management of policy reviews, benchmarking ,updates and self-audits.
- Ensure records and procedures for controlling staff transactions and reporting staff data are adhered to.
- Oversee payroll processing by the HR Consultants and provide sign off on all input.
- Perform Job Evaluations for new or reviewed positions.

- Avoid payroll data variances by conducting process mapping, compliance and auditing.
- Ensure payroll compliance through management of external vendor resource.
- Participates in negotiation of agreements with insurance carriers and financial institutions for administration of benefits programs.
