PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As the Senior Audit Manager, you will lead the audit team and provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls within FirstRand Namibia Group. • Execute high quality audits in compliance with internal audit methodology and the IIA standards and meeting strict audit plan timelines.
• Demonstrate effective people management skills, implementing and maintaining a highly skilled team through targeted training and development plans.
• Provide expert guidance to managers/auditors throughout the audit process, advising on technical, methodology and regulatory issues whilst providing professional advice and consulting services to clients.
• Assist with the preparation and review of committee packs, improving on the quality of reporting to enhance clarity and impact.

You will be an ideal candidate if you meet the below requirements:

• Minimum qualification: CA, CIA, CISA or relevant qualification at a post graduate level.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in internal or external audit, with IT audit and data analytics experience.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, effectively leading audit teams.
• Banking and financial services sector experience will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel.
