REQUIREMENTS
A Grade 12 certificate. National Diploma or Bachelors Degree (NQF6/7) in
Finance / Accounting/ Auditing as recognised by SAQA and 1 year relevant
working experience in Financial Accounting will be an added advantage. Have
proven competencies in: Communication (Verbal and Written), Analytical and
Problem solving, Attention to detail, Interpersonal relations, Planning and
organising skills, Basic Numeracy and Accuracy.
DUTIES
Render Financial Accounting transactions: Receive invoices, check invoices
for correctness, verification and approval (internal control), process invoices
(e.g. capture payments), Collection of cash). Perform Financial Accounting
Administration support services inclusive of updating and maintaining invoice
tracking register, file documents (Batch control), perform adhoc activities as
and when required. Perform bookkeeping support services in respect of: –
capturing of all financial transactions, clearing of suspense accounts, recording
of debtors and creditors, processing of electronic banking transactions and
compiling of journals.

The Ministry of Small Business Development was established in 2014 marking a turning point in history of SMMEs and Co-operatives development in South Africa, demonstrating Government’s commitment to place SMMEs and Co-operatives at the centre of economic growth and job creation.
The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) was thereafter established as a standalone national department in accordance with the reorganisation of some national departments announced by the President in May 2014.

Born in Sakhela Village in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, Ms Stella Tembisa Ndabeni-Abrahams assumed her current role as a Minster of Small Business Development on the 5 August 2021
Prior to this from 22 November 2018 – 4 August 2021, she was Minister of Communication and Digital Technologies. In March 2017 – November 2018, she was Deputy Minister of Telecommunication and Postal Services. On 25 October 2011 – March 2017, she was Deputy Minister in the Department of Communications.
Career/Positions/Memberships/Other Activities
She is currently a member of the ANC Eastern Cape Provincial Executive and Provincial Working committees. Prior to being a Member of Parliament, Ms Ndabeni-Abrahams was a Project Manager for the Easter Cape Socio-Economic Consultative Council from 2003 to 2009.
She is a recipient of the Premier’s Award for her involvement in voluntary activities aimed at improving people’s lives. Her academic qualifications include a Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation Diploma in Telecommunications and Management Systems, a Certificate in Telecommunications, Policy & Regulation Management (Wits University), an Advanced Certificate in Project Management (Rhodes University) and a Project Management Diploma (Cranefield College). Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Digital Business with Wits University
Born on 13 May 1960 with a purpose to lead and make changes. Currently deployed to serve the country as Deputy Mister for Small Business Development. A Member of Parliament(MP) , serving in the standing Committee on Appropriations and Alternate on the standing Committee on Finance. Her portfolio have been served with Powers, Priviledge and Immunity of Members of Parliament Committees and The Committe for Section 194 Enquiry into Public Protector (PP) Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s fitnes to hold office.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work obtained from the University of the North, a Certificate in Development and Public Policy from the University of the Western Cape; a Certificate in Executive Mangement from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business; as well as a Certificate in International Policy Management from Havana, Cuba. Leadership roles come with a responsibility to lead, follow, and serve. Currently, serving in the National Task Veterans League National Task Team.
Her employment exprience accumulated from several roles that have played in the South African government, including deployment as the Minister of Energy in the Republic of South Africa in 2009 until 2013. On 09 July 2013, she was appointed as the first female Minister of ransport of the Republic of South Africa until May 2014, Marking the end of the 4th term administration. She the redeployed as the Minister of Transport of the Republic of South Africa again on May 2014 for the 5th term Administration until 31 March 2017
A humanitarian at heart, who proudly served the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, a structure which worked for the repatriation of political exiles and re-integration of political prisoners after unbanning of political organistations. With her vast exprience ranging from several fraternities including religious and Faith Based; Student Organisations; Yoth formations; Women; and Trade Union movements, she accept the current opportunity vasted upon her to support Small Business and Co-operatives in South Africa at Large, and will ensure to add fruitfuk value in develioping, restrutuiring and growing the economy of South Africa
Ms Manzini, is a multifaceted executive leader with more than 20 years in the Public Service. She has served the South African Government in various roles. Her experience in transforming organisations and implementing turnaround strategies has contributed positively to good corporate governance, operations and administration.
She has travelled extensively as part of various ministerial and departmental delegations in foreign missions and represented the South African government in many global platforms. Ms Manzini has served as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Brand South Africa, an organisation mandated with managing the reputation and image of the country domestically and internationally. She contributed immensely to the positive positioning of the entity and general global competitiveness of South Africa.
Ms Manzini was appointed at Brand South Africa while serving as Deputy Director-General for Governance and Administration in the Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services (DTPS), a position she has held since January 2016.She has been responsible for anchoring efficiencies in business operations by driving strategy, financial services, providing sound human capital management as well as overseeing legislative mandates. She managed the interface of business systems and operations, supply chain processes and internal controls. Her portfolio also included brand positioning and corporate identity management through the political and administrative interface of operations in the Ministry.
In 2018, the DTPS hosted a successful International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Telecom World event in South Africa, where 180 countries were represented. She was responsible for the Department’s Communications strategy and coordinated strategic engagements to ensure the successful implementation of this prestigious event.
Her other senior and executive management roles include Acting as Director-General, Chief Operations Officer, Chief of Staff, Chief Director of Corporate Services at the Department of Public Service and Administration and Head of Corporate Services at the Municipal Infrastructure Support Agency (MISA). In 2019, Ms Manzini was a finalist in the Standard Bank Top Women Awards, Top Gender Empowered Public Sector Leader category.
