About the role

This role is focused on delivering a world-class client experience for Capitec clients by executing activities across the entire CX scope. You’ll be responsible for developing client insights through primary research and data analysis, which will inform the design and optimization of the client experience throughout the product value chain. Leveraging these insights, you’ll craft user personas, design client journey maps, and develop effective client communication to enhance the overall servicing experience.

Key Performance Areas

Promote CX standards

  • Provide input into the development and implementation of CX standards.
  • Promote CX standards during interactions with stakeholders.

Client insights

  • Conduct primary research into clients’ needs as they relate to various product categories e.g. savings or insurance; and clients’ experiences with Capitec’s products and support channels, using appropriate research methodology.
  • Analyse first party client data to create a robust ‘picture’ of the client.

Client journey design

  • Leverage client insights to craft user personas that will inform client journey design.
  • Develop clear client-first problem statements to inform the client journey design.

Measurement and evaluation

  • Conduct CX reviews of client journeys to identify gaps in the experience/opportunities to elevate the experience.
  • Effectively communicate CX review feedback to product/servicing stakeholders and drive recommendations.

Our Ideal Candidate has:

  • 6-8 years in a Client Experience or B2C Marketing role
  • Proven experience in creating effective client experiences
  • Proven experience in consumer research
  • Client journey and process mapping
  • Experience working in Financial Services (Incl. Fintech) or FMCG Sector experience

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communication

Role Overview: The Creative Director (CD) will be pivotal in leading Capitec’s Creative and Design strategy and its implementation across the company. This includes overseeing the creative direction of the Brand CI, marketing campaigns, digital and direct client engagement, and key initiatives such as bank card design, uniform design, office design, and digital platform design. The CD will work closely with the Head of Brand and Communications and partner with the management team, including the Manager Advertising Media, Manager Employer Brand, Manager PR and Events, Manager Marketing Operations, and Digital Communications Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the retail or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative strategies.
  • Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A visionary mindset with the ability to inspire and drive innovation.
  • Experience working in financial services, eCommerce, telco industries is advantages

  • Oversee multi-media strategy execution and success across various paid media channels, including planning, creative development, audience segmentation, testing, deployment, and metric reporting.

  • Develop and execute effective communication strategies, tailored to different stages of the client life cycle, to enhance client value.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and support the preparation of presentations.
  • Lead weekly status meetings to ensure alignment and track budgets.
  • Monitor and manage campaign budgets, approve media plans, and handle PO requests.
  • Produce monthly campaign reports, assist with management reports, and provide ad-hoc reporting.
