TAX COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Our successful Tax Compliance Managers for the Group …

Prepare and submit annual income tax returns and provisional tax returns for all
Tsogo Sun group entities.

• Prepare responses for income tax verification requests from SARS.
• Assist with tax accounting for budgets, forecast and tax year-end accounting
  processes for the Group and ensure accurate calculation of
  o Tax charge and tax payments;
  o Deferred tax balances;
  o Receiver of revenue balances;
  o Tax rate reconciliation; and
  o Tax disclosure for group reporting purposes.
• Liaise with SARS during the VAT verification process.
• Assist with SARS audits, objections, appeals and VDP applications.
• Prepare and submit annual carbon tax returns and ensure timeous payment of
  carbon tax.
• Complete and submit returns for dividend withholding tax and security transfer
  taxes.
• Provide support to divisional financial managers and other internal stakeholders
  by responding to tax queries and assistance with supporting schedules.
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation. Keeping up to date with any new proposed
  tax legislation and assessing the potential impact to the business.
• Skilled communicator – both verbal and written at all levels. Able to work under
  pressure and deadline driven.
• Able to work proficiently in Microsoft Excel, Word and SARS efiling.
• OneSource experience advantageous.
• If you have these qualifications, join our team: B.Com Accounting; B.Com
  Honours/PGDA; with completed articles. A minimum of 5 years in Corporate Tax.
