Receptionist/PA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Thorough knowledge of SASAMS – including the following:

  • Uploading school information – staff and learners – termly
  • Create a data base of the school to send to the GDE for verification – LURITS deployment
  • Complete GDE surveys through SA-SAMS
  • Submit GDE learner performance statistics and schedules to the department
  • Receive GDE correspondence and distribute to relevant staff

Thorough knowledge of Edupac – including the following:

  • Subject allocations for each learner
  • Subject allocation for all teachers
  • Set up profiles for educators
  • Learner and educator absenteeism
  • Merge mark schedules
  • Merge Termly learner reports
  • Curriculum coverage for all Grades
  • Termly STATS – analysis of learner performance – SBA and Exam

Competencies/Skills/ Requirements:

  • Knowledge of KARRI APP
  • Computer literacy: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to deal effectively with queries
  • Knowledge of educational procedures, systems, and structures
  • Umalusi submissions
  • Good understanding and application of school software programs – Edupac and Microsoft 365 (or must be willing to be trained)
  • Strong planning, organising, and reporting skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Uphold the school values
  • Very good communication skills – oral, written and presentation
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a successful team

The position will commence on 14 October 2024

Applicants for this post must be energetic, have the ability to work under pressure and be prepared to work overtime, where necessary.
