Requirements
- Grade 12
- 2 years relevant experience
- Code EB Driver’s License
- Computer Literacy
- Microsoft applications (Word, excel & PowerPoint)
- SAP Materials Management (Advantageous)
Key Performance Areas
- Associated with the functionality (e.g. information storage and
retrieval systems, etc.). - Attending to the approval of requisition orders and/ or
controlling claims and related issues (petty cash, cell phone
vouchers, etc.). - Maintaining and updating the registers of movable and
immovable assets and specific equipment of the branch (e.g.
vehicles and plant, etc.). - Collating information and/ or conducting investigations to
establish facts for inclusion into responses to internal/
external communications (e-mails, letters). - Monitoring and checking all relevant documentation and
correspondence for accuracy and completeness. - Ensuring proper controls are implemented and maintained by
monitoring such and implementing various checks and
balances. - Maintaining information on the accounts database and
monitoring/ reviewing operating expenditure within the ISM
branch with a view to identifying, investigating and notifying
the line manager of variances and outcomes. - Providing consolidated financial and administrative information
in the form of inventory analysis, forecasts, expenditure
schedules and, estimates and cost indicators to the line
manager related to key activities to support budget planning,
preparation consolidation and/ or control of the branch. - Monitoring the processing and consolidation of information/
complaints recorded on the system and / or extracting
specific reports to facilitate analysis and follow-up on
outstanding matters with the various regions. - Checking leave, sick leave, time and attendance records and attending to and resolving queries.
- Attending meetings, recording discussions and, preparing and
circulating minutes to departmental personnel outlining
agreed steps and actions. - Filing completed documentation and retrieving files and folders
on request
