Assist the CDS team across the different sals channels with the completion of the administration relating to processing orders, ensuring that the vehicles undergo the pre-delivery processes and supporting with the follow-up processes.   To support with the auditing of deal files to ensure that the required documentation has been uploaded and the correct data has been captured.

Quality Inspector

  • Responsible for the identification of the Causes of Mutilation (Scratches and Damages) within Plant Rosslyn and the correct allocation of them to the causing areas.
  • Steering the development and documentation of Mutilation protection requirements for all areas within Assembly plant, including protective covers for the car, sockets for the tools and protective covers for manipulators, equipment, etc. Ensuring the requirements are known to those who use and maintain the equipment.
  • Liaising with all levels of management to ensure that counter actions are developed rapidly and effectively.
  • Where corrective actions have been applied, to follow up on the effectiveness of measures implemented and propose further improvements if not successful. To work together with the line leadership to develop sustainable solutions.
  • To facilitate the rapid flow of information from Offline to Online relating to Mutilation and the requirements to prevent further cases.
  • Responsible for the quantity, maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle protective covers, to ensure that they are fit for purpose.
  • Responsible to communicate the Mutilation landscape daily report with pictures/silhouettes and responsible parties allocated.
  • Communicate and steer mutilation topics across technologies as a central co-ordination point.
  • Develop pro-active, preventative measures, for example – conduct HOT SPOT checks on wearing, protective equipment to facilitate the refurbishment / replacement prior to failures causing mutilation.

Additional responsibilities

  • To conduct, on a rotational basis, audits on completed vehicles, highlighting the defect landscape for action by the plant management, through the necessary Defect Awareness documents. Accuracy and correctness of bookings are critical to the successful impact of the product audits.
  • Supporting on system checks, containment measures, etc, especially where the cause of the defect is not known.
  • Analysing, investigating non mutilation defects, as and when required, with the purpose to determine cause and thus the basis for containment and corrective actions.
  • Development of training / awareness material relating to mutilation, causes and prevention there-of.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification: Diploma or higher in any qualification
  • Must have a Driver’s License

Production Analyst

Main Duties:


– This is a more detailed definition of the Summery of Duties. Whenever possible, define WHAT, HOW and FOR WHAT PURPOSE. Also use words related to Management Duties such as: initiates, delegates, directs, supervises, controls, plans and checks.
– Responsible to ensure all emergency parts supply issues are solved pro-actively with all parties internal and external in order to avoid crippled units being build and line stoppages
– Ensure all emergency supply issues are resolved
– Monitor, track and control all material movements from the Warehouse to the line, via the STARD monitoring cockpit, to ensure uninterrupted supply from warehouses, as per set targets (agreed parameters)
– Investigating, analysis, updating and maintenance of Control Cycles and Material Master Overviews as and when required.
– Responsible for the tracking of emergency supply parts into the plant and then to production to ensure target achievement
– Responsible to ensure proper tracking of part shortages (Root Cause) and report figures at the end of each shift.
– Decision making and co-ordination on need to call off emergency container(s).
– Responsible for the tracking of the manual requests on the shift (which is to be included on the Shift Report)
– Ensure the flow of information between the line and the material planners to avoid any confusion or incorrect information
– Decision making on the proposal to block units in selectivity to R-10 in accordance with part shortages found or other risks to avoid crippled units and line stoppages, and if it is a 100% take rate part then input for decision to stop the affected area (eg. Assembly or Bodyshop)
– To monitor and control JIT/JIS & Direct supply in order to prevent building crippled units and line stoppages

– Liaise with the external warehouses and service providers to ensure parts are available within defined lead times for supply to the lines
– Call-off of required parts from the external warehouses for emergency parts
– Decision making on the priority of emergency parts to avoid stoppages (which includes re-directing of emergency containers between the warehouses to avoid crippled units and line stoppages)
– Ensure that all emergency parts (manual requested parts, parts where kollies called from external warehouse or parts where container called from depot) are counted by cycle counting to ensure that VPRD (and in general the available stock) values are accurate.
– Responsible for the emergency procedure when SAP goes down in the plant, and to coordinate the effort of supply of parts to the line (BMW line supply associates and JIT/JIS supply).
– Responsible to be aware of the daily engineering changes, and to pro-actively check.
– Responsible to be aware of the PÜ changes, and to pro-actively check
– Responsible to ensure that all emergency parts and problem parts that may cause an emergency are counted and adjusted by the relevant department/team/person to maintain an accurate VPRD
– Compilation of the relevant Shift reports and KPI overviews, as per STARD monitoring cockpit.
– Responsible to gather initial information on the reason for any stoppage or cripple, and to include this in the Shift Report
– Updating the Shift Report with absenteeism figures across the Logistics areas on the shift
– Escalation of topics that she/he cannot solve to the Shift Leader or relevant persons available or relevant departments available (eg. IT when SAP goes down)
– Creation and preparation of data, analyses and presentations to aid the decision making for management

Process Supporter 

You will be responsible to plan, lead, organize and control all aspects and activities within the specific work unit to ensure the hourly achievement of targets (quality, cost, delivery and safety) and continuous improvement through the technical supervision of direct associates, coaching and training of associates and all line activities while improving all relevant standards.

  • To drive of daily work organisation within areas of responsibility in order to drive effective communication within the production system.
  • To achieve hourly volume targets through mean time to repair and mean time between failures by proactively managing and initiating containment action, immediate problem solving and/or escalation when necessary.
