Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 plus a relevant 3 year tertiary (NQF level 7) qualification in either Forensic
    Investigations /Security Management / Criminal Justice / Law.
  • State Security Agency (SSA) Security Advisor / Management Course / SSA Vetting would
    be advantageous;
  • 7 – 9 years or mor relevant or mor experience in Security Management / Forensic
    Investigation / Policing which includes 4 years in middle management;

Primary Function:
To protect the City’s employees and assets, to mitigate threats and risk within the City.
Create an environment whereby the city assets and human capital and information
systems are adequately protected to enable the organization to conduct its business
operation to its full capacity and enable efficient service delivery.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Strategic leadership planning;
  • Oversee the screening of BSC/BEC and or BAC committees.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 plus a relevant 3 year tertiary (NQF level 7) qualification in either
    Finance / Accounting/ Audit / Legal /Forensic Investigations / Information Technology;
  • 6 – 8 years’ experience within fraud and corruption investigation environment of which 3
    year should be at managerial level within public service or private sector;

    service or private sector;
  • Knowledge of forensic investigation process controls and the identification of system
    weakness;
  • Understanding of legal implications of policies;
  • Quality assurance and human resource procedures and regulations;

Primary Function:
Responsible for planning execution and reporting on scheduled and corruption Fraud
and Corruption investigations. Ensuring that all the allocated Fraud and Corruption
work conforms to the Forensic Investigation methodology and other standards set by
Group Forensic and Investigation Services. Provide evidence in disciplinary criminal
proceeding as well as any other legal tribunal.

Key Performance Areas:

  • To ensure that planning, conducting, executing and reporting investigation as well as
    ensuring that allocated cases conforms to the GFIS methodology and any other standards
    set by Group Forensic and Investigation Services;
  • Information management. Recordkeeping of evidence of the case;
  • Participate in the GFIS anti-fraud and corruption awareness campaigns through various
    engagements;
  • Building and maintaining strong relations with internal and external business units, entities,
    key stakeholders and peers to ensure the correct focus and support around investigations;
