Manager: Supply Chain Management (Level 11)
Salary: R 849 702 – R 1000 908 pa inclusive of benefits.
Location: Free State Regional Office (Ref No: SAS FS 0168/24)

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a relevant 3 year qualification ( NQF Level 6, 360 credits) as recognised by SAQA coupled with 1-2 years management experience in the relevant field, Extensive knowledge, experience, interpretation and application of SCM prescripts, Treasury Regulations on Public entities and Procurement Regulations, Knowledge of Oracle or AccPacc or Accrual Accounting; Computer Literacy and valid driver’s license are essential.

Duties: The incumbent will manage the unit to ensure the effective implementation of demand plans for cost-effective and procurement of goods and services. Manage the asset function within the Region. Provide support to the Regional Bid Committees. Manage the resources of the Unit. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures with applicable GRAP standards / GAAP and IFRS, PFMA,Treasury Regulations, Preferential Procurement Framework, Constitution and other relevant legislation. Manage the resources attached to the unit.
