Control implementation of permit system services, access control services, control room services, and electronic access control.
Manage maintenance of security equipment and infrastructure in an effective manner.
Drive continuous improvement of security processes through benchmarking of best practices to guarantee optimal service delivery in terms of quality, cost, and time.
Document critical and core processes and report following Sasol governance model and document management system requirements within agreed timeframe.
Allocate required security officers effectively and install appropriate closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and intruder detection systems to reach optimal level of security.
Identify and implement road safety operations.
Perform effective risk and loss control measures for Secunda site.
Conduct investigation services, security assessments and physical information security management (PISM) frequently to maintain secure environment.
Guide tactical response to operational emergencies and security related incidents and crime prevention services when needed.
Promote security awareness through targeted security trainings and awareness campaigns to embed a culture of security across Sasol group.
Oversee site adherence to relevant legislative safety and security standards, codes of practices, and best practices to maintain continued operations.
Seek required security related certifications for continued operations across Sasol sites.

The successful candidate will be appointed according to the career ladder for MSP positions according to your level of experience and qualifications.
An Artisan Instrument Mechanician supports production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes and utilising all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant.
Execution of tasks associated with maintenance inspections and strategies including trip tests. • Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation: Level, Flow, Pressure and Temperatures. • An ability to read and interpret instrument loop drawings, control logic diagrams, data sheets and associated technical documents. • Knowledge of EX and IS standards for hazardous areas. • Installation, testing and commissioning of instrumentation in accordance with Sasol specifications. • Proactive identification of instrumentation defects and mat-functioning. • Implementation of preventative maintenance activities. (Schedule work) • Need strong instrumentation and control system skills to do proper fault-finding and preventive maintenance. • Conduct data extraction and analysis from DCS/SIS PLC during fault-finding exercises (fault finding, trends etc.)
Grade 12 with Maths, Science, English as subjects

Experience on petro-chemical equipment (added advantage)
SIEMENS S7 Knowledge (WISH) DCS knowledge
ESD/SIS knowledge
Electrical & Instrument Loop drawings detail interpretation
Read and interpret MFD (Mechanical flow diagram or Process flow diagram) PLC fault-finding hardware & software
Driver’s license (minimum Code 08)
Have own transport
