ENGINEER IN TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR 2025 INTAKE

An opportunity to participate in a twenty four (24) months Engineer In Training
programme will be afforded to a graduate in the following study field for
experiential training and to gain necessary experience to successfully enter
the job market.

 BSc or BEng degree (Electrical Engineering)

Graduates with an excellent academic track record and good behavioral
standards are invited to apply.

The successful candidate will form part of the Maintenance Team at
Roodepoort Plant.

FITTER

VACANCY: FIXED TERM CONTRACT (FITTER)

Western Cape Province

Location:
Readymix Operation, Bellville (Cape Town), Western Cape Province

Responsibilities:

1. SAP PM Maintenance System is followed resulting in high plant availability
2. Relevant data and maintenance history is recorded on SAP PM
3. Fault identification and timeous repair with minimum production stoppage
4. Effective root cause analysis problem solving minimising recurring problems
5. Quality and standard of outsourced work monitored
6. Apply technical knowledge to support continuous improvement initiatives
7. Ensure safe work practices and work is executed in accordance with Asiphephe company safety
   requirements
8. All lockouts and work permits are adhered to

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Qualified Fitter N3
2. 3 years in maintenance and breakdown repair mechanical equipment

Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of Aggregate and/ or readymix plant and equipment technical specifications and maintenance
requirements
