ICT Infrastructure Administrator

Location: Head Office Pretoria
Reference: PPSA 02/12/2024
Remuneration: R376, 413.00 – 443, 403.00 per annum plus benefits

Requirements:

A recognized three-year National Diploma/Degree
(NQF Level 6/7) in Computer Science /Information Technology/
Information Systems.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in public sector ICT
technical support.
Knowledge of different Operating Systems, Active Directory,
Office 365, including Microsoft Teams and One-drive.
Knowledge of the Microsoft e-mail system, Mimecast email
archiving and security system, Service Manager and Server
Virtualization.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi systems.
Experience in Microsoft technology platforms.
Knowledge of anti-virus systems and operating system
updates.
Experience in hardware and software deployment,
configuration and support.
A valid Drivers’s license.

Duties:

Proactive LAN and WAN management and support. • Systems administration and support. • Backup and Recovery
maintenance and support. • Network and Server Security Management. • Support of all hardware and software
systems. • Implementation and monitoring of ICT infrastructure support processes and procedures. • Implementation
and monitoring of ICT projects. • Compiling monthly infrastructure reports.

Note: All appointments will be done in terms of the Public Protector Act and a 12-month probation period which may be extended to 18 months will be applicable. The successful candidates will be expected to sign a secrecy declaration form and a performance agreement within two (02) months of accepting the position.

All successful candidates will have to undergo security clearance and vetting.
