SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area in SAP. ECS is responsible for providing cloud hosted infrastructure, technical & application managed services to our SAP private cloud customers. The Technical Service Manager (TSM) is the single point of contact for all technical topics in context of the customer’s S/4 HANA Private cloud engagement.
 
What you will do
As a Technical Service Manager you will contribute to SAP’s global strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4 HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise as part of the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. TSMs play a critical part in helping our customers accelerate their cloud transformation journey and enable them to achieve the business values and outcomes they want from their SAP landscape. Your will act as a trusted technical advisor to our customers and partners. This includes analysing customer’s business requirements and problems and working across the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and other SAP departments to provide quality services to our customers, resolve technical complexities and accompany them throughout their entire cloud transformation journey.

As Technical Service Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks: 

  • Primary contact for customers for discussions about SAP technology and innovations and serve as an escalation point person for technical issues, service requests and incidents
  • Understand the customer business, goals, and challenges to suggest technical solutions & services
  • Offer comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools.
  • Understand the SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine)
  • Identify top issues, define & execute service plan activities and orchestrate implementation of technical action items across customer landscapes
  • Design optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
  • Identify and position offerings by SAP that deliver value to the customer

 
What you need to bring

  • Minimum 7+ years of SAP Technical administration and operations of SAP Solutions (preferably in the domain of SAP Basis)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Hands on experience and working knowledge of Unix/Linux flavors, SAP HANA and Sybase data bases
  • Experience in de-escalating critical situations
  • Fluency in English mandatory, fluency in Portuguese & French highly appreciated
  • Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial)
  • Hyperscalers certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

Job Title: Technology Senior Logistics Consultant

As a Technology Senior Logistics Consultant, your job will involve working in a global team,

focusing on positioning and delivery of DMLT services in South Africa, Global, as well as internal projects.

Your main tasks are:

  • Identify customer’s logistics business needs and designing and architecting the appropriate solution proposal from the Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) portfolio and beyond.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant job experience.
  • Minimum 10 years (preferably international) SAP consulting experience in customer engagement role.
  • Has worked as enterprise architect or advisor to customers helping customers build their IT Roadmap leveraging SAP Products and services.
  • Has strong networking skills, a positive customer centric work attitude.

  • Fast-track data migration and (selective) transition to the Intelligent Enterprise Suite (IES) (SAP S/4HANA cloud, SAP S/4HANA, BW/4, C4/H, SuccessFactors, SAP Data Intelligence and more).

BASED IN ANGOLA

The Senior Solution Advisor with advanced good knowledge of SAP S4 HANA and partner software solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy.

The Solution Advisor interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions.

The Primary role of the Sr Solution Advisor during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that SAP solution can solve the customer’s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. During these cycles they often take on the role of a Solution Captain. In addition to deal support, a Presales Senior Specialist collaborates with sales and Industry Value Engineers (IVE) teams and other teams to plan and execute business development strategy.

Deal Support:  

  • Compose and deliver superior sales solution presentations covering SAP S4 HANA and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the value message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.
  • Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation.
  • In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories.

Customer Acumen – Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape. Review public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect.
Territory and Account Leadership – Participate in the development of designated territory, including accounts, account relationships; prospect profiling, and sales cycles. Encourage all accounts to become SAP references.
Business Planning – Participate in the development and delivery of comprehensive business plan to address customer and prospects priorities and pain points. Understand VE, benchmarking and ROI data and how they support the customer’s decision process. Work with Sales and VE leadership to deploy tools effectively.

Demand Generation, Pipeline and Opportunity Management

Pipeline planning – Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve.
Pipeline partnerships – Leverage support organizations including Marketing, Inside sales, Partners and channels to funnel pipeline into the assigned territory.
Leverage SAP Solutions – Be proficient in and bring all SAP offers to bear on sales pursuits including Industry Solutions, LOB solutions (CRM, SCM, HCM, SRM et. al) and technology solutions (Business Analytics, Mobility, Database and Technology, et. al)
Advance and close sales opportunities – through the successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap. Collaborate with and support sales management on negotiation of close strategy and contracting.
Support all SAP promotions and events in the territory.

Understand best practice sales models. Work actively with more Senior Sales employees to develop sophistication in sales and negotiation skills.

Maintain White Space analysis and execution of initiatives (up sell and cross sell) on customer base.

We are hiring an experienced Organization Change Management professional to work alongside similarly qualified and skilled team members to achieve the above outcomes.

JOB EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Facilitate change in complex IT and business transformations for global companies
  • Plan, conceive and implement strategic and operational Organization Change Management measures via successful communication, enablement and stakeholder management
  • Management of sub-projects within delivery projects, including bid-support, shaping Organization Change Management initiatives and projects
  • Work with training teams to develop adoption strategies and translate into operational initiatives
  • Participate in knowledge sharing & mentoring of less-experience colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of services tools, templates, and methodologies for Organization Change Management
  • Contribute to the generation of sales for Organization Change Management, including bid and proposal assistance
  • Ensure alignment with multiple teams, including people from different departments, regions and cultures

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Organizational Psychology, Change Management and / or Organizational Development.  Postgraduate qualification(s) is an advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of Organization Change Management
  • Excellent verbal and written English language ability is mandatory
  • Verbal and written skills in other language(s) is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable of SAP portfolio of solutions is preferable
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities & creative thinking
  • Understanding of Organization Change Management technologies and the influence of AI on the adoption of change is a strong advantage
  • High-level understanding of IT trends and their impact on business strategies
  • Accreditation with an internationally recognized professional Change Management bodies is an advantage

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years’ experience and proven track record in Organization Change Management in an IT implementation environment
  • Extensive experience in the delivery of Organization Change Management engagements
  • Experience in coaching customer project team members
  • Strong awareness of global cultural differences; previous work experience in a multi-national environment preferred
  • Results driven: starts, drives and accomplishes tasks with minimal direction
  • Team oriented: builds strong relationships at every level of the organization and is a strong motivator who knows how to influence others to do their best work
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to interact with customer CXO suite
