This role is responsible and accountable for the Supply’s Coastal activities to ensure efficient and effective stock. Close working relationships and interaction with internal (finance, marketing, logistics , supply, traders, etc) and external (ports master, agents, surveyors, clearing & forwarding agents, SARS; customs; TNPA , TPL , etc.) stakeholders. High degree of expediting and anticipating with multiple scenarios to mitigate deviations. The shipping function is a 24 hour activity and will require after hours / weekend support.
A Supply Coordinator – Coastal would be responsible for the following:
Stock Management:
• Perform, monitor, and ensure that all stock movements for the parameter are recorded timeously on TEMSA’s applicable system SAP / Light House / SSAM / etc.
• Monitor and assess the stock progression, with a 30-day forward planning horizon / look-ahead to anticipate adequate and efficient supply / demand balance. Provide mitigation recommendations where applicable.
• Creation and management of Purchase, Sales, and IDT orders for the parameter, ensuring that stock movement can take place as planned…
• Perform Reconciliation of Supply Depots to ensure integrity of TEMSA financials and stock progression.
• Provide daily update on stock position and stock outlook / projection to ensure that all stakeholders (supply chain and marketing) are aware of the stock position and any mitigation/s or opportunities that might need to be implemented..
• Ensure effective planning, co-ordination, and execution of Term / Spot contracts.
• Work closely with Finance, Treasury and OCC for accruals for invoicing purposes.
• Investigate and resolve queries / discrepancies raised by either the plant or other stakeholders .

This is a Senior Supervisor position responsible for the technical implementation of the electrical works of a Hybrid renewable energy project, with specific focus on the electrical aspects (solar PV and BESS, including associated works). It includes, site consultations, site inspections and audits, preliminary electrical engineering design reviews and progress measurement against contractual schedules. This position will interact with the EPC team on a continuous basis.
Key responsibilities:
Supervise the work done by Contractor on site to fulfill the electrical requirements of the scope specifications.
• Ensures a safe working environment, compliance to safety standards, and adheres to regulatory compliance requirements.
• Read and analyze engineering drawings during construction and installation
• Ensures the plant construction work is performed per schedules and project documents, Quality & Safety procedures, and the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Detect possible electrical quality problems before or during the works and assist in problem-solving by coordinating with the Engineering Manager.
• Monitor manpower employed by the contractor and its subcontractor; ensure manpower are adequate and the subcontractor work performed conforms to design documents;
• Review and reconcile test and Control documents and field data to ensure design standards are being met.
• Read and analyze engineering drawings during construction
• Supervision of the subcontractor construction activities on site including Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.
• Create reports to monitor, and track status of activities relating to the project through daily and weekly plans, logs, reports and meetings.
• Raise Request of Information to Engineering team for unclear design, unspecified materials, the discrepancy in the designs, etc.
• Checking that the construction and assembly work is properly carried out, ensuring that the applicable standards and procedures are complied with
• Review the contractor’s Documenting design changes on site and reporting them to the engineering manager.
• Assist in verifying the contractor’s payment claim for accuracy before Construction Manager approval
• Identify and supervise non-conformities, corrective actions, preventive actions and any complaints.
• Generate the punch list for the defects noticed during Electrical inspections and monitor the contractors to close them.
• Work and support the commissioning manager when the works is at commissioning stage to meet the project milestone.
• Support and facilitate in project closeout phase to ensure smooth handover to Operation and maintenance teams identify and report to the management of any risk that might cause project delays.
Successful candidate must have the following requirement:
•Previous experience in Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme, Construction and Operations
•A Technical Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is recommended or similar with experience
•Minimum 3 years of construction experience in the power generation industry.
