To ensure profitable growth through applying profitable underwriting principles. Utilise available resources to improve or implement new underwriting practises on claimants. He/she will get involved with referral underwriting decisions and has to be knowledgeable and experienced to provide Insurance Consultants and brokers with creative and innovative solutions
• Do Policy screenings and manage portfolios in accordance with company policy.

Job Purpose
The Intern IT (GPA) is responsible for helping build high performing, scalable, enterprise grade applications. This includes but is not limited to applying critical thinking, design thinking and problem-solving skills in an agile team environment to solve complex technical problems (Front End, Back End and Integration) with high quality implementations & getting involved in all phases of the development lifecycle.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring strategic alignment of initiatives for Outsourced Business (OB) by the System Platform Providers (SPP’s) and the Binder Holders. They will also be responsible for Relationship management between Santam and the SPP’s through frequent engagements; including supporting the Outsourced Business and Business Integration teams. This role will report to the Manager: Outsourced Business Operations.
