Key Responsibilities:
Technical • Maintain Instrumentation related documents (i/o lists, drawings, POC and functional specifications) • Ensure measurement systems accuracy and quality implementation associated infrastructure. • Refurbish, Maintain, Configure, Setup and test measurement and control devices. • Ensure optimization of process control and measuring devices within area of responsibility • Execute fault-finding and rectification of control and measurement system failures • Assist with root cause failure analysis and fault-finding. (SIR) Focus on safe production, Operational & Work Process functionality Planned Maintenance • Complete planned maintenance activities and priorities according to schedule • Conduct effective planning for execution of task • Safe, correct and effective application of tools, equipment and machinery utilised during duties. • Adhere to maintenance schedules and ensure that schedules are conducted accurately • Configure, setup and ensures accuracy and precision of measurement systems is maintained • Find the cause of breakdowns, inaccuracy and correct • Ensure critical spares stock levels is maintained at sufficient levels • Ensure that the required material, equipment and spares are available to achieve all planned task outcomes. • Redlining of all relevant documentation (Loop drawings, IO schedules, etc.) • Standby duties and breakdown assistance during and after normal business hours
Maintenance, Construction & Equipment Availability Workmanship and Quality • Support installation contractors to ensure safety and quality of technical standards is maintained. • Maintain good engineering and installation standards on a continuous basis and during project related work. • Ensure accuracy and precision of all control and measurement systems. • Report any operational problem encountered to immediate supervisor for further action. • Escalation of unresolved breakdowns or unsuccessful maintenance, installation and constructions to Supervisor Administration & Reporting • Completion of relevant Maintenance related administration reports and documents.
