Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Executive Commercial and Business Development, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Airfield Manager Services, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Manage assets replacement (with CAPEX permission) to ensure serviceability and compliance.

  • Facilitate, plan, develop and monitor the refurbishment and maintenance strategy for commercial property based on the network strategy.
  • Manage the development of Commercial Property policies and procedures and ensure that they are aligned with the integrated maintenance and refurbishment strategy, the business model and aligned to ACSA’s non-aeronautical revenue growth strategy.
  • Develop guidelines, policies, procedures, and other related program content, to align with best practice and frameworks, and enable commercial operations to carry out and enhance refurbishments and maintenance programs.
  • Develop pre-emptive and predictive strategy for property up-keep, maintenance and refurbishments.
  • Recommend and implement Technologies and automation to be deployed.
  • Developing a facilities business model for ACSA network, this should consider and entail but not limited to; Maintenance and Refurbishment model, Business model, Benchmarking, Standards assessment, e-Commerce, Market research and analysis, Human resource implications, Financial implications, Transition plans from current to new tenants, Technology and digitalization, facilities Security, Associated regulations to be considered, Stakeholder engagements and Key performance indicators.
  • Operability of the Commercial Property Portfolio a Maintenance and Refurbishment plan; this must include amongst others: safe hangar access and use, operations and security plan, landside access facilities, and terminal access.
  • Facilitate the maximization of revenue growth and commercial opportunities; and support future sustainability of ACSA.
  • Monitoring and reporting progress to all relevant governance structures; reports will take various forms from detailed documents to power point presentations.
  • Develop operational, capex and labour budgets for the function emanating from business plans. Accountable for Facilities Management CAPEX and OPEX budget.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

  • Bachelor Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Engineering/Property Development/Quantity Survey/Commercial/Construction Management/Business is essential.
  • Master’s degree in business administration/management (NQF 9) is advantageous.
  • 8 years operational Industry experience in Real Estate and/or Property Management is essential.
  • 4 years middle management experience is essential.
  • MS Office at intermediate level.
  • Code B; Motor vehicle licence

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise architecture and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Design compelling technology solutions in alignment with the business’ strategic objective and requirements.
  • Define, integrate, and upgrade a comprehensive architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases.
  • Ensure solutions are designed as per business requirements and as per enterprise IT standards;  with minimum and agreed variance from functional and technical specifications.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
  • Defining the data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modelling, metadata, security, reference data.
  • To provide modelling, design, development, preparation, implementation and optimization of data.
  • Document security requirements and controls for protecting information, systems, and technology assets.
  • Provide technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships (government, authorities and agencies) to ensure achievement of organisational goals.  Implement remedial actions where required.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and   procedures.  Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.
