Purpose Statement
Optimise credit performance and minimise risk through:
- Managing and overseeing a team responsible for developing, implementing and optimising credit intelligence policies / solutions / processes / strategies across more than one workstreams.
- Ensure the quality delivery of advanced statistical insights and application thereof to influence credit decision making.
Experience
Min:
- 6 – 8 years’ experience in retail credit (including advanced analytics, statistical modelling, as well as policy and process enhancement).
- In case of Honours degree: 5 – 7 years’ experience in retail credit analysis (including SQL programming and descriptive analytics).
- Minimum of 3 years Portfolio specific experience.
- Experience working with / contributing towards credit principles, policies, frameworks.

Purpose Statement
- To minimise the risk of loss through bad debts, and maximise profits for the business through effective execution of credit application, evaluation and approval processes, and ensuring the quality of credit risks across the portfolio is maintained.
- To interact with other areas of the bank and acting as a catalyst in ensuring compliance with agreed risk parameters as set out in the Bank’s strategy.
Experience

About the Role
This role involves a combination of configuration and salesforce development tasks on the Salesforce platform. The individual will be responsible for configuring Salesforce to meet business requirements and developing custom solutions using Salesforce’s proprietary languages, APEX for back-end and LWC for front-end components.
Education (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Knowledge and Experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development and cofiguration
- Proficiency in both front-end (LWC) and back-end (APEX) development on the Salesforce platform.
- Must have a Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce applications
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment

Specialist: Litigation (Safeguarding of Assets)

Purpose Statement
- To initiate, monitor and control suitable legal processes to ensure the optimal realisation of various collateral types held across all product offerings in respect of the relevant non-performing loan portfolio
- To provide specialist inputs relating to Legal Collections towards:
- maximising recoveries and impairment releases
- minimising recovery costs and impairment raises
- Financial assessment, negotiation and restructure of distressed debt
Experience
Minimum:
- Admitted attorney / advocate
- At least 2 – 3 years post-admission experience in civil and/or commercial litigation practice
Ideal:
- 3+ years post-admission experience in civil and/or commercial litigation practice, comprising of 2+ years in a Collections and Recoveries space.

- A relevant post graduate degree in Law or Commerce
