Opportunity: SAICA CA Trainee Programme (3 Roles)
The PIC is proudly accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) as an
official training office. This accreditation enables us to develop aspiring Chartered Accountants
through a structured training programme that follows SAICA’s prescribed framework and
competencies. Through this programme, we are committed to:

• Contributing to youth employment and professional growth.
• Supporting employees in achieving their career aspirations of qualifying as a Chartered
  Accountant [CA(SA)].

Who Should Apply
We invite applications from unemployed youth who:

• Hold a CTA (Certificate in the Theory of Accounting) and are seeking an opportunity to
  complete their articles as part of the SAICA CA Training Programme.
• Concluding CTA end of 2025.
• Are prepared to sit for the Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) in January 2026.
• Demonstrate independence, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn.

Programme and Contract Duration

• Three (3) years

Programme Structure & Process
As a SAICA CA trainee, you will follow the SAICA CA Training Programme process and Training
regulations, which include:

• Mentorship & Supervision: Assignment of a qualified mentor and reviewer.
• Rotations: Structured rotations across PIC’s departments to ensure exposure to different
  areas of the business.
• Competency Development: Training and assessment against the SAICA CA 2025
  Competency Framework, covering Technical, Professional, and Enabling competencies.
• Compliance: Adherence to SAICA Training Regulations throughout the duration of the
  programme.
  This structured process ensures that all trainees acquire the depth and breadth of experience
  required to qualify as a CA(SA)).
