We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join our HR team to drive the evolution of our HR Data Platform. You will work across a diverse HRIS landscape, integrating data from multiple HR and payroll systems into our enterprise HR data platform and developing robust enterprise data products.

You will take end-to-end ownership of data pipelines and the Azure environment that supports them – designing, building and maintaining automated workflows using Alteryx and Azure services, optimising Blob Storage and Azure SQL, and ensuring high standards of data quality and reliability.

Working closely with teams across HR and the wider business, you will translate compliance and reporting requirements into sustainable, scalable solutions, while establishing best practices, operational playbooks and a solid framework for future growth.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous, combined with 3 to 6 years of experience in data engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python – solid experience in at least one, with the ability and interest to apply both to data extraction, transformations, automation and potential re-engineering of workflows.
  • Experienced background in relational modelling and schema design, with experience creating, designing and optimising relational databases.
  • Practical experience building and maintaining automated data workflows in Alteryx or a similar orchestration framework (e.g. Apache Airflow; Azure Data Factory; Data Bricks).
  • Practical knowledge of cloud data ecosystems and an eagerness to deepen expertise – preference for Azure, while experience with AWS, GCP, Snowflake or similar is also valuable.
  • Good grasp of the data product lifecycle – from requirements gathering and design through development, testing, deployment and ongoing operations.
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into robust, well-documented data solution.

Ideal candidate

  • Familiarity with HR and payroll data structures or similar sensitive, regulated data domains.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Awareness of data governance and privacy standards.
  • Broader cloud administration knowledge, such as RBAC management, role assignments and privilege reviews, application / database patching, cost monitoring and resource health.
  • Exposure to modern data architecture concepts such as data Lakehouse, medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), or data mesh.

Maintenance Planning and Master Data Manager 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Planning and Master Data Manager to join our team in the copper mining sector in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The ideal candidate will be responsible to provide data integrity, governance and compliance with business requirements and best practices to support effective and timely maintenance planning and driving a high level of equipment reliability, availability and safety.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Master Data Management: Evaluate, redesign, and optimize master data solutions to support plant maintenance processes, implementing best practices to achieve optimal performance.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of master data across systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in master data management practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience in mobile fleet maintenance and mining operations.
  • 5+ years’ experience in critical problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of integration between SAP PM and other SAP modules, particularly MM, FI-CO and integration points with AMT.
  • Exposure to COUPA source-to-pay processes and understanding of integration with S/4 HANA and AMT.
  • Experience evaluating and advising on technology options related to master data management for equipment maintenance.
  • Proven track record leading SAP and AMT PM master data projects from inception to completion, including solution design, implementation, and post-go-live support.
  • Experience defining data governance policies, standards, and procedures to govern the creation, maintenance, and use of data assets.

  • 8–12+ years in OD/OE/HRBP/HR CoE with 5–7+ years leading (leadership roles) multi‑site programmes; mining/heavy industry preferred.
  • Proven delivery of organization design and complex change at scale; strong facilitation and executive influencing.
  • Built leadership capability and measurable succession/localization outcomes.

Certifications & Tools (desirable)

  • Prosci/ADKAR change certification; coaching accreditation; psychometrics (e.g., Hogan/SHL); job evaluation (Mercer IPE / Korn Ferry Hay); CIPD/SHRM‑SCP.

  • 3 years’ experience as a Miner and Shift Supervisor in the Trackless Mining Environment
  • Good Communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Valid drivers’ license and medically fit to work underground and shift
