Salary: R262 268. 52 per annum (Job level 12)

Job Purpose: To supervise, transport people and materials.

Key Performance Areas: The Senior Team Leader must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction
and to achieve the objectives of Council  Coordinate and supervise utilisation, application and
maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools and material  Coordinate and supervise activities of a
team  Supervise the construction of a team and perform related tasks to support the maintenance
and construction of electrical cables and poles Performs driver activities using a truck.

Requirements:  Grade 12 (NQF Level 4), C1 Driver’s license with PRDP and Two (02) years relevant
experience.

Job Purpose: To maintain and construct roads and stormwater infrastructure.

Key Performance Areas: The Foreman must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to
achieve the objectives of Council  Maintain and construct roads and storm water infrastructure.
Monitor and supervise utilisation, application and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools and
materials  Performs driver activities Monitor and supervise activities of staff. Perform
administrative and huma resources related activities.

Requirements:  N6 in Civil Engineering or related qualification to the field, Driver’s license with PRDP
and Two (02) years relevant experience.

Job Purpose: To perform general labour activities related to construction and maintenance of electrical
infrastructure.

Key Performance Areas: The General Worker must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction
and to achieve the objectives of Council Provide assistance to the electrical staff in the maintenance
and construction of electrical installations Cleans substation surrounding area and stores area.
Maintains and clean equipment and tools used.

Requirements:  Very basic literacy
