Role Summary:
- The Receptionist is responsible for answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, booking consulting rooms, assist with admissions and assist with ad-hoc administrative functions as required.
KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Co-ordination of diaries for various professionals.
- Room bookings and co-ordination.
- Assist with taking of payments.
- Accurate liaison with nursing department regarding patient matters.
- Ensure seamless patient flow to practitioners.
- Answer telephone calls.
- Assist with general administration duties.
- Direct the public to correct areas in the clinic.
- Provide information regarding programmes and services at the clinic.
- Deal with admissions, walk-in queries and pre-authorisations.
- Must be willing to work evening shifts, weekend shifts and public holiday shifts.
EDUCATION
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification

- Previous Reception Experience
