ACCOUNTING CLERK

All-inclusive annual remuneration package: R 241 205 (Not negotiable) – Estimated monthly net salary: R 12 491.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A 3-year Diploma in Accounting.
• Experience working in an accounting environment will be an added advantage.

SUMMARY OF JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Check payment vouchers for completeness and validity before capturing on the payment system.
• Check the correctness of the budget codes before payments are processed.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Assist with assets verifications and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly payroll reconciliations.
• File all payment vouchers according to the approved filing system with correct numbering.
• Capture and file all payroll related documents.
• Verify all financial transactions captured.
• Clear suspense accounts.
• Record creditors.
• Compile financial statements
