Duties :

  • The incumbent will be expected to clean all designated areas such as windows, walls basins, sinks, lockers, kitchen and bathroom. Damp and dry dusting. Emptying of dustbins in all designated areas in the institution. Periodically assess and update toilets cleaning checklist in line with set hygienic standards, request and replace toilet paper/towels and hand soap. Remove and store waste in the designated areas. Requirements :

  • The candidate must have a master’s degree in clinical psychology and current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in the appropriate category. Broad knowledge working in the Employee, Assistance Programme setting is required. In-depth knowledge of psychopathology and psychotherapy, managing complex trauma, severe Post Traumatic Stress illnesses is required. Experience with different forms of individual and group therapy is necessary. Experience and proficiency in psychometric assessment is very important. The candidate must be abreast of the Mental Health Care Act and other laws and policies pertaining to the field and have a sound knowledge of professional ethics. The candidate must be computer literate and in possession of a valid driver’s license.

Duties :

  • The candidate will provide psychotherapy services within the Forensic Medical Services employees and their families. Duties will include: Assessing, diagnosing and intervening in employees dealing with workplace post-traumatic stress and life challenges. Applying evidence-based psychotherapy interventions to employees and family members with mental challenges. Referring employees to relevant professionals for further assessment and intervention; In addition, the candidate will conduct psychometric assessments to prospective Forensic Medical Services employees for selection and recruitment processes and employees as part of psychotherapy interventions. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that employees receive appropriate psychosocial and psychotherapy services. To assist the employer to manage the risk that employees pose to themselves, families, communities and the organization due to work-related Post traumatic stress and their personal challenges. Requirements :

  • Diploma or Degree qualification ( in Medical Orthotics & Prosthetics) or appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as a Medical Orthotist & Prosthetics. Completion of 1 year Internship, registration with HPCSA and compliance to CPD requirements. Good communication, interpersonal, conflict management, time management, flexibility and operational planning skills. Ability to work independently, in groups and work under pressure. A basic computer skills.

Duties :

  • Provision and monitoring of quality Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics services as required at regional level in line with strategic plans of National, Provincial and Institutional goals. Contribute to service development, conduct outreach clinics at cluster Hospitals, attend meetings and assist in Managerial tasks. Assist with Management of resources including Human, Physical, Financial, Risk and waste. Lead and coordinate in-service training. Secure and analyze physical and electronic records. Supervision of junior staff and students. Lead and adapt to changes in the workplace. Communicate in the workplace and in the team. participate in research.
