Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, control and assist with optimum functioning of Receiving department.
Management of the receiving department.
Management of employees within the department.
System stock management.
Trims management.
Monitoring and Procurement of stock.
Managing and coordinating inbound deliveries and outbound deliveries of raw material.
Manage transfer areas from receiving to production lines.
Receipting .
Stock allocation and maintaining stock accuracy.
Stocktake.
Manage process flows in and out of receiving areas and maintain lead times.
Housekeeping.
Manage H&S adherence and standards in the department.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
1-2 Years of experience in logistics/supply chain/despatch and receiving departments.
Formal qualification in logistics/supply chain.
Computer Literate with exceptional excel skills.
Experience in a managerial role of function.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager: Prestige Epping. Prestige Epping is a well-established plant where we manufacture Men’s and Ladies formalwear. Our unique people strategy is what differentiates us from other Clothing Manufacturers. This world class plant is an ideal growth opportunity for motivated candidates to grow with us as the business continues to expand. The Production Manager is responsible for a Production Unit of approximately 250 employees and objectives include manufacture of a good quality product, on-time and in full deliveries , with the shortest lead time, while continuously improving what we do.
Responsibilities:
Execution of an operations strategy for the production lines that is aligned to the strategic objectives of TFG D&M. This would involve the objectives, quality, speed, dependability, flexibility and the most cost effective solution to plan.
Ensures that production planning meetings, production activities, machine preventative maintenance and maintenance plans are adhered to, maintaining product quality and adhering to budgets
Manages and motivates a team , with a high focus on continuous improvement
Review financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity to determine areas needing cost reduction and improvements
