Our ideal candidate would have a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Financial Accounting or Finance with experience in either banking or financial services.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will have knowledge in financial and operational reporting principles as well as banking and financial services client offering products and channels. You will bring proven financial management experience i.e. accounting financial analysis, reporting budgeting and forecasting and financial modelling in order to manage a portfolio at either divisional or large departmental level
Your key focus areas will be to partner with business and provide commercial guidance, ensure a strong understanding of the link between operational drivers, business strategy and financial performance to enable accurately and effectively financial management and decision making. In addition, you will act as liaison between Executives, Head of Department and Financial Management in respect of finance specific portfolios.

Our ideal candidate would have a completed Masters Degree in Accounting/Financial Accounting or Finance, as a Registered CA (SA) or complete CIMA (Chartered Management Accountant) with experience in either banking or financial services. As a Manager you will bring proven financial management experience at a senior management level, managing a team of qualified financial professionals in the capacity of Financial Business Partners and Costing Analyst, focusing on team development, be responsible for ensuring their allocated divisional Opex and Capex are within budget. In addition, you will have experience in strategic business partnering and providing business insights, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, management reporting by building and maintaining profitability views for the various lines of units and understand the drivers within these units, as well as perform cost benefit analysis or profitability reports using ABC costing principles.
Your key focus areas will be to ensure that Capitec Bank’s strategic objectives i.e., profit, efficiency, processes and procedures are managed and that your team are able to drive these objectives within their portfolios. You will build relationships with a variety of business stakeholders and identify innovative and proactive implementable solutions with your expertise and knowledge within retail credit, compliance legislation, operational finance, and financial assets.
