Icebolethu Group is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the Permanent position of Receptionist-Ref No. HR/02/27 within the Group Human Resources Department. The position will be based at our office located in Randburg; the successful candidate will be required to perform tasks supporting the Receptionist duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Education/Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12
- Fluency in English
- Experience using Microsoft Teams
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
Key Performance Areas:
- To greet visitors at the office.
- Answer the telephone and distribute calls.
- Make tea for office staff and visitors.
- Take stock of stationery on a regular basis and order when needed.
- Take stock of cleaning material and office supplies and order when needed.
- Assist with other ad hoc duties.

Icebolethu Group is calling for suitable candidates to apply for a 4 months’ Temporary position of Remuneration and Benefits Officer-Ref No. HR/02/25 within the Group Human Resources Department. The position will be based at our office located in Durban; the successful candidate will be required to perform tasks supporting the payroll department.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in HR/ Finance
- Certification as a payroll practitioner is an advantage.
- SARA Registered 3 years` experience in Remuneration and Benefits management environment.
- Knowledge of Tax, Medical Aid and Pension Fund laws and Rules.
- Practical working knowledge of payroll systems, such VIP Premier, Sage 300 and others, is essential.

Key Performance Areas:
Data capturing and Payroll processing
- Updating and maintaining of payroll records.
- Processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, increases, pension, medical aid, time and attendance, leave, garnishes and all payroll changes through the month.
- Calculate Employee packages.
- Processing 3Rd Party Payments (SARS, Medical Aid, Retirement Funds).
- Printing payslips where necessary.
- Process payroll.
Benefits administration
- Ensure all relevant information is updated and correct with regards to Payroll system, Time and Attendance.
- Ensure systems are set up and updated to reflect current employee base.
- Ensure Payroll systems, employee records and reports are available for auditing purposes.
- Prepare and assist with annual Financial Audit
- Attend to general enquiries from employees.
- Dealing with Medical Aid and Pension/Provident Fund Service Providers.
HR Payroll Information auditing
- Ensure all relevant information is updated and correct with regards to Payroll system, Time and Attendance.
- Ensure systems are set up and updated to reflect current employee base.
- Ensure Payroll systems, employee records and reports are available for auditing purposes.
- Prepare and assist with annual Financial Audit.
Query Management
- Ensure all pay related queries are dealt with promptly and feedback is provided within 48 hours.
- Assist and advise employees regarding remuneration and benefits policies and procedures.
Documentation and Reporting
- Complete all documentation with all details required, every time without error, highlighting any deviations or non-conformance.
- Ensure correct filing and safe keeping of documents.
- Reconcile monthly payroll.
- Create, prepare and maintain accurate employee files.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Prepare, review and update remuneration and benefits data to include business required reports.
- Finalize year end reports for auditing.

Forensic Specialist

Icebolethu Group is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the permanent position of Forensic Specialist within the Forensic Department. The position will be based at our office located in Durban.
To conduct forensic investigations related to fraud, theft, corruption, and other irregularities/ unethical behaviors for Icebolethu Group and its subsidiaries in line with policies and procedures of the company.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech (NQF Level 7) in Accounting/ Forensic/ Forensic Audit/ Internal Audit
• Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE)
• Registered Professional Membership
• 5 Years’ experience in conducting complex Forensic Investigations of which 2 years must be internal auditing experience.
• Valid driver’s license
Key Performance Areas
• Develop and implement fraud prevention, detection, and corruption strategies.
• Promote and uphold a zero-tolerance culture for fraud and corruption across Icebolethu Group.
• Contribute to the development and review of anti-corruption plans, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide expert guidance on the implementation of forensic policies and investigation methodologies.
• Conduct forensic investigations (e.g., theft, fraud, corruption and other irregularities) following required standards.
• Conduct forensic investigation interviews with witnesses and suspects according to forensic investigation standards.
• Gather, review, and analyze data and evidence as part of the investigation process.
• Facilitate the implementation of forensic interventions, projects, and activities across Icebolethu Group.
• Identify risks and control weaknesses in processes, standards, and proceduresduring investigations.
• Contribute to the development of fraud and corruption risk registers and assist in risk reviews and updates.
• Clearly define fraud, corruption issues, and identify root causes.
• Recommend improvements for weak internal controls and processes and assist in developing/implementing corrective action plans.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies and maintain good relationships to enhance business processes.
• Prepare comprehensive, clear investigative reports/memoranda for relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk and control management over operations’ effectiveness and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
