Creditors Clerk

  • Position: Creditors Clerk
  • *Job Grade:C1 – C5

Purpose of the role:
To ensure that accounts payable are carried out to the required standards to achieve the company’s
financial and business objectives and policies.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • A relevant diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • 3 years experience

Preferred qualifications

  • BCom Accounting or Financial Management
  • Diploma in Accounting

Duties:

  • Full creditor’s function
  • Invoice Processing
  • Reconciliation of Accounts
  • Processing of payments to creditors
  • Maintaining up-to-date supplier records is essential for effective financial management
  • Handling Queries and Disputes in relation to payments and queries
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Filing and storing of invoices and creditors documents

Head Human Capital

  • Position: Head Human Capital
  • *Job Grade: F1 – F2

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to Provide overall leadership and guidance to the Human Capital function
by overseeing all the Human Capital areas and ensuring that programmes and initiatives are
effective, efficient, and aligned with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree in Social Sciences with Industrial Psychology or Human Resources
    Management or equivalent as major subjects.
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resources or equivalent (Preferred).
  • 8 to 10 years of extensive Senior Management experience, in a large and dynamic corporate,
    characterized by a high proportion of professionals.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources legislative requirements.
  • Human Resource function leadership experience.

Duties:

  • Lead Human Capital function, inclusive but not limited to attraction and retention, Remuneration,
    learning and development, Human Capital Administration and Compliance, Employee Relations
    and Organisational Effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Human Capital Strategy including policies and procedures
    which are aligned with the business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation in particular Labour Law, FAIS and FICA.
  • Understanding of legislation governing employment practices.
  • Develop and guide the PICs performance management system.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for the division and perform periodic cost and productivity
    analyses.
  • Develop a team that adapts to the fast-changing conditions of the PIC environment.
  • Audit and Risk management of the Human Resources environment.

    skills.

ESG Analyst (Listed)

  • Position: ESG Analyst (Listed)
  • *Job Grade:C3-D3

Purpose of the role:
To support the PIC in the implementation of its Responsible Investment Strategy. Ensuring that
Environment, Social, Governance and Transformation / Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ESGT) Research,
and Engagement principles, plans and issues are implemented and complied with in the investment
decision-making process in line with the approved ESGT governance framework.

Requirements:
Minimum Entry Requirements and Qualifications:

  • B Degree in Commerce, Social, Developmental studies, Economics and any other relevant
    degree
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an ESG role
  • Understanding of Investments/ Investment policy and active ownership will be advantageous
  • Passion for sustainability and ESG principles


Preferred Qualifications:

Post Graduate Degree

Preferred Body / Association:

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA)

Minimum Technical/Core Skill Requirement

  • Relevant ESGT experience and knowledge of ESG issues and topics is a requirement.
  • Working knowledge and Understanding of ESGT legislation, principles and reporting
    frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Transformation / Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues
  • Research Skills – the ability to source, analyse, interpret and report ESGT-related data from
    various sources.
  • ESG due diligence experience.
  • MS Office proficiency.

Duties:

  • Conducting Research and Analysis of Listed Companies, State Owned Entities/ Fixed
    Income and External Asset Managers on their ESGT disclosure, performance, and the
    management of their respective ESGT risks and opportunities.
  • Conducting proxy voting analysis and engagements with companies on ESGT issues and
    report writing thereof.
  • Supporting and developing tools and frameworks for the effective integration of ESGT
    analysis into the investment process.
  • Contributing to PIC ESGT thought leadership research analysis and integration.
  • Compile quarterly client’s and public managers funds’ performance reports.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulations and best practices.
  • ESGT due diligence on transactions including pre and post-investment monitoring
  • Portfolio monitoring of ESGT plans and issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve ESGT performance.
