KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Results Delivery
- Lead the delivery of the JSE enterprise-wide digital content strategy through and in partnership with the JSE preferred website agency.
- Partner and collaborate with business to ensure that the digital web content supports the business overall objectives.
- Develop a metrics for the measurement and evaluation of the JSE web, online advertising, intranet and social media platforms performance and report on progress periodically.

Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Establish regular communication with internal business partners to support their business objectives through website and social media content management.

- Manage internal stakeholder relationships through articulating the digital content strategy in a way that is well understood and supported by the business.
- Anticipate partner needs by providing best in class digital content practices to ensure the up-to-date content for the website.

Process Management
- Project manage the development of the JSE websites content strategy, that is aligned to the strategic goals of the business.
- Develop clear processes as well as workflows for digital content changes, together with internal partners as well as vendors working on the website.
- Ensure that team members adopt and follow the set processes in conducting their activities.
- Ensure prudent resource management by developing briefing templates that will allow for clear communication of briefs and expectations to service providers.
- Ensure that signoff procedures and best in class processes are developed and implemented.
- Always ensure content accuracy especially with critical information that may have reputational impact on the JSE.
- Balance potentially conflicting needs of the business partners with clients’ expectations in relation to website content as well as social media platforms.
- Work with digital agency to improve layout of the pages and SEO to make information easy to find as well as align with business objectives.
- Utilise analytics to generate insights that can assist in improving the useability of the JSE websites.
- Manage digital agency Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to ensure that they deliver within the agreed standards and expectations.
- Continuously monitor efficiency of the digital platform and liaise with relevant stakeholders to make remedial action based on sound findings from the monitoring of the platforms.
- Continuously improve on the quality and relevance of content shared on the platforms by understanding customer needs and mapping them against what the JSE platforms offer.
- Work collaboratively with the brand and marketing teams to ensure that the digital platform is an effective communication and promotion channel for the business that promotes its offerings as well as enhancing its brand positioning according to the strategic intent of the division.
- Meet compliance expectations by aligning content with marketing, brand and communication guidelines so that reputational risk can be averted.
- Ensure that the brand visual identity guidelines are used on the digital platform and work collaboratively with the brand team to develop visual identity solution where current guidelines are unclear.
- Work with marketing and brand team to refresh and keep the website visual appeal fresh and aligned to the brand positioning and visual guidelines.
- Develop governance processes for both social media and web platforms.
- Draw on latest best in class technologies and tactics to improve the digital marketing efforts of the JSE.

Qualification:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business and Financial Results Management
- Contribute to the development of package benefits and elements for externally sponsored events to drive revenue generation.
- Management of each event’s budget whilst meeting the client’s event specifications and requirements.
- Support the department meeting its expense budget by tracking costs, closing out invoices and reporting on deviations from budget.
