Purpose of Job

Drive the Convenience Retail ( CR) strategy by guiding the store formats, store space and lay-out activities of Sasol Convenience Centres ( SCC’s). Develop and Maintain strategic partnerships with retail, food and other ancillary partners to enhance business opportunities and drive revenue growth. This should align with the Customer Value Proposition of the various locations to complement and grow CR income and increase the volumes of the Fuels business. Collaborate with the Category Team, Operations and Network Teams to manage the external service providers to monitor project execution according to set time-lines, standards and budgets.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage all space design and layout activities for Sasol Group Sasol Convenience Centres (SCC’s) across all geographies to optimize the strategic use of space, influence the customer experience and maximize sales.

• Guide the development of SCC’s store design ideas in line with market trends and maintain proper understanding of the customer flow and common shopping patterns within the defined customer segments.

• Analyze consumer data to gather key insights serving to enhance the strategic use of SCC’s space and maximize profitability.

• Acquire key information about potential projects, discuss requirements in details and set project schedules.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, research and external sources to develop store design concepts and strategies.

• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information on store layout, space utilization, and customer flow.

• Create detailed store layout plans, including floor plans, fixture placement, and signage.

• Direct coordination of space design and layout contracts with external suppliers by evaluating cost estimates, bid proposals and negotiating and awarding contracts.

• Oversee ongoing space design and layout projects performed in-house or by contract, by reviewing plans and design documents including contract working drawings and specifications; and monitoring the proper allocation of resources.

• Perform frequent site visits during construction, and conduct pre- and post-occupancy evaluations.

• Review the use of materials and costs against set budgets, and manage the sourcing products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing in line with budget allocations.

• Remain abreast with key trends and new developments in the space and layout design, merchandising solutions and optimization techniques.

• Identify and establish mutually beneficial relationships with potential partners, focusing on strategic relationships in order to grow CR Revenue.

• Critically evaluate the benefits of the partnership in order for CR to optimize income and amplify the value proposition

• Performance Tracking – Strict KPI management of the partnership performance from Pilot to roll out stage .

• Cross – Functional collaboration with internal stakeholders ie sales, Marketing, Category Teams, network , franchisees and partners to ensure alignment around the business objectives

• Conduct Partner Quaterly Reviews for performance Management and adhoc meetings to review site development progress

• Manage the Brand Tool Kit – Review, update and socialize with stake holders

• Provide commercial and operational inputs to shape the legalities of Partner collaborative agreements.

Formal Education

University Bachelor’s Degree

Post Graduate Honours Degree (will be an added advantage)

Purpose of the job
The main purpose of the Instructional Designer role is to drive the delivery of fit for purpose learningand in time learning through the creation of online learning content. Focus on digital contentdevelopment with specific emphasis on animation.
Accountability for the design, development and implementation of content development standardsto ensure standardisation and consistency. The role also requires the management of the deliveryof content by the Graphic Designer and the Superuser Instructional Designer.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure adherence to the standards, governance and guidelines through the quality assurance of allcontent development projects.
Track and report on cost savings through internal content development and track and report onexternal spend for content development on a weekly basis.
For internal content development projects follow the Instructional Design guidelines (i.e. the ADDIEModel) and involve internal stakeholders in the key milestones of the project.
For internal content development projects assigned to the superuser/instructional designer andinstructional designer, ensure adherence to content development guidelines and standards byconducting quality assurance on the completed content development project.

Min Experience
3+ Years with at least 2 years in Instructional design of content using Articulate software and Adobecreative cloud for animation and illustrations


Formal Education
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic design, E-learning Content developer, Content designer, orInformation Design.

Purpose of Job

Ensures effective, accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders. Support the cost and profit centre managers with financial analysis and intelligence in a proactive way. Provide a continuous input into financial and business decision-making at an operational level. Provide accurate and timeous financial and management accounting reports. Execution of financial related activities. Apply relevant policies, procedures and ensure compliance to internal controls.

Key Accountabilities

Present and confirm the accuracy and completeness of SAP data.

Prepare SAP journals to ensure correct cost allocation between GL accounts.

Support finance team (manager in preparing BU)/value chain results

Maintain SAP structures to align with BU / value chain requirements and make budget changes accordingly.

Prepare monthly cost reporting of the BU / value chain / area results.

Evaluate completeness of monthly cost and create provisions & accruals were necessary.

Prepare monthly reconciliations/schedules for GL accounts under their control.

Reconciliation of monthly SAP and Management reporting results.

Maintain cost and profit centre structure within SAP to ensure alignment with BU/value chain/area requirements.

Identify and implement value adding initiatives to be adopted and supported by the business.

Stay abreast of changes in legal/regulatory environment that could impact BU’s.

Report and influence the adoption of best practices across BU’s.

Liaise with the relevant role-players regarding timeous capturing of financial information, follow up on queries and discrepancies

Prepare and download Supply and Crude TB, update YTD and MTD workings and ensure completeness for Income statement reporting

Ensure that Accrual accounts are accurately reconciled, and each line item can be substantiated

Preparing monthly JV accounts where applicable.

Assist with rehabilitation provisions calculations and updates

Formal Education and Experience

National Diploma in a Finance related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

B-Degree or higher in a Finance related field will be an advantage
