Organisation Design and Change Officer
Job Description
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Organisational Design Specialist and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Assist in gathering and submitting information that serves as input to the development of the department’s strategic objectives.
- Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the quarterly National Employment Equity Training and Development (NEETD) Forums and manage the collection and storage of EE reports for NEETD and Local Employment Equity and Training and Development (LEETD) Forms.
- Consolidate the transformation data and deliver reports against the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) plan, monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Support and implement change management activities and plans.
- Maintain a functional and engaged Change Agent Network to support successful implementation of organisational change initiatives across ACSA.
- Maintain updated Organisational structure records, reporting lines, and position data to support workforce planning and structural integrity.
- Creating and update positions on Oracle HCM and safeguarding the integrity of the organisation hierarchy to ensure accurate maintenance of organisational structures.
- Consolidate and submit monthly OD dashboards tracking structural movements, job profile review requests, OD project status, and approved job profile updates.
- Support the development of workforce plans by providing structure data, organisational trends, and headcount analytics.
- Support the design and implementation of engagement strategies, including engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and action plans to improve employee experience and retention.
- Assist in the design and implementation of an annual wellness calendar in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) initiatives, ensuring employees have access to support services that enhance productivity and well-being.
- Managing document repositories for change plans, communication material, training records, job profiles, organisational structures and project documentation.
- Managing diaries, travel, and logistics for OD-related engagements.
- Collate and submit reports to required Governance committees.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial administration by raising and tracking expense requisitions on Oracle for OD projects, events, and consumables in line with procurement and finance requirements.
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals and Stakeholder contract updates.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- Bachelors Degree (3 years – 360 credits) in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (NQF 7) is essential
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as HR Generalist with numerical exposure across functions is essential
- Code B;Motor vehicle licence is essential

- Millwright Trade test recommended.
- 3 years relevant infrastructure asset maintenance operational experience is essential.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA, PLC.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate reporting to the Manager Maintenance will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise / co-ordinate team activities
- Ensure contractors work in a safe manner.
- Monitor service providers’ daily activities according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) and report deviances
- Ensure compliance to relevant statutory and legislative regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), operational standards, policies, and practices.
- Mitigate risk to limit injuries.
- Manage operational risks related to relevant area.
- Conduct regular inspections of the environment and implement remedial action.

Technical Skills and Experience
The challenges posed by this position require the successful candidate to have the following:
- The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- A minimum of 3 years’ operational experience in Maintenance is essential.
- Supervisory experience will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Code B Driver’s license would be advantageous

Key performance output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Operations Coordinator, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Patrol Car Park areas in order to monitor functionality and cleanliness of car park equipment and report non-compliance.
- Follow up on all reported non-compliance to ensure remedial action has been taken.
- Notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies occurrences.
- Participate in ad hoc services as and when required.
- Ensure proper handover to next shift to limit disruptions.
- Investigation of customer related queries and escalate as and when required.
- Replenish change at pay stations as and when required.
- Manage and reconcile the daily float.
- Assist customers with change when required.
