Job Purpose
This programme aims for proper placement of agriculture student internships who require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to complete their qualifications.

Minimum Requirements
You desire an opportunity to gain practical work experience.
You are a South African citizen and completed grade 12 in the Western Cape.
Youth (18 – 35) may apply for the Student Internships.
Persons with a disability are encouraged to apply.
Student intern applications must be accompanied by a letter from the Institution of Higher Learning indicating the required WIL period.
Applicants must be entering an internship/developmental programme in government for the first time.

Recommendation
You are financially constrained and you have no network or support to help you make career choices.

The appointed interns will receive a monthly stipend of between R5 639.64 – R6 659.36

Preference will be given to the students from Colleges of Agriculture.

This programme aims for proper placement of unemployed graduates with agriculture related qualifications in relevant farms or enterprises with the agriculture value chain to reduce the unemployment rate among youth of Western Cape. Further provide them with required practical hands-on experience and by linking participants with potential entities that support the development of entrepreneurs.

Minimum Requirements

You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape
You are and unemployed graduate between the ages of 36 and 45 years
Youth 18-35 years
Persons with a disability are encouraged to apply.
Suitable qualification in line with the Agriculture related.
Completed Grade 12 in WesternCape.

Job Purpose
The Western Cape Government invites unemployed South African graduates residing in the Western Cape to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme for 2025/2027.
