Description
Purpose of the Job:
To support the HR Department in the successful execution of the FSCA Strategic Human Capital objectives. The person appointed to this position will be supervised.
Key Performance Areas:
Working under direct supervision and closer to HR Generalists, the candidate will perform the following duties:
•Recruitment and selection of staff including administration of appointment and transfers and exit process;
•Review and prepare job descriptions; job profiles and job specifications;
•Advise staff on performance management processes and development matters;
•Provide advice on employee relations matters (grievances / disciplinary process);
•Provide advice on FSCA Employee benefits and compensation matters;
•Provide advice on various FSCA policies and administration thereof;
•Perform general administration function and project related function as directed by HR Management;
•Ensure proper filing of all relevant documents;
•Ensure employee files are always kept up to date;
•Provide ongoing reports and relevant statistics on tasks relating to own work.
Key Competencies:
The candidate must demonstrate the following skills: People management, problem solving, interpersonal and conflict management skills, knowledge of current HR legislation, the ability to perform consistently under pressure and be team orientated.

Requirements

SENIOR ANALYST PROGRAMMER(MAGIC) 24 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT ICT OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (Pretoria)

Description
Purpose of the Job:
To apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. To configure, analyze, design, develop, and maintain in-house developed applications to support business processes and functions. The person appointed to this position will report to the Senior Manager: Applications and Maintenance Support.
Key Performance Areas:
•Leverage knowledge of application architecture, databases and development techniques to design technical solutions to satisfy business requirements;
•Program applications according to specifications and design. The various modules must integrate with business processes. Test the functionality with special data in the development environment. Demonstrate new functionality and assist users with testing in a test environment;
•Fix problems with applications and change functionality according to changing business requirements. Work according to the change management procedures of the ICT Department;
•Develop interfaces and link different components with each other and with workflow;
•Train users to utilise in-house applications and provide general support to all application related problems;
•Keep up to date with new developments in the ICT industry (e.g. programming techniques, best practices, etc.) by studying technical manuals and magazines and attending special training.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field or equivalent qualification with at least 7 years’ development experience using the Magic development platform OR at least 10 years’ development experience using the Magic development platform in the absence of a formal qualification.
ITIL Foundation certification would be advantages.
Exposure to integration services (e.g. SOAP, REST etc.) would be advantages.

Purpose of the Job:
To contribute to the design and application of organisational development, change management, culture transformation strategies/techniques to manage change within the FSCA thereby improving organisational effectiveness.
Key Performance Areas:
•Implement the approved Target Operating Model
•Support FSCA’s digital transformation initiatives.
•Lead organisational structure design (departments, roles, reporting lines)
•Develop tailored change management strategies for OD interventions and process re-engineering.
•Develop and maintain change management plans and tracking tools.
•Conduct change impact assessments, readiness diagnostics, and risk mitigation planning.
•Design and roll out toolkits, training materials, and stakeholder communication plans.
•Build change capability among leaders and managers.
•Support post-implementation stabilisation and performance monitoring.
•Monitor adoption, address resistance, and realign plans for lasting impact.
•Design and implement culture and engagement surveys, analyse organisational health, and recommend actions.
•Drive culture transformation initiatives to embed new behaviours and leadership expectations.
•Deliver workshops, leadership sessions, and team interventions to promote collaboration and accountability.
•Prepare reports, presentations, and decision-support documents for leadership and governance forums.
Other Key Competencies:
The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Knowledge of current HR legislation; project management skills; ability to solve problems; excellent customer service skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain high level of confidentiality; strong interpersonal/human relations skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; Demonstrated ability to engage with employees at various levels within the organisation. Experience in developing OD, plans, policies and procedures, designing team development activities and facilitating learning with multi-professional teams, and advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills; analytical skills and diligence.

Requirements
