PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To monitor mobile and fixed equipment onsite by providing and implementing equipment reliability strategy through condition monitoring programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or FTC in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
- Vibration analysis certification.
- Thermography Analysis certification.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in Mining industry preferably Asset Management and Systems Reliability Monitoring on both fixed and Mobile Equipment’s.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Reliability Engineering Courses (MLT and NDT etc.).
- Certified Condition Monitoring Courses (Vibration Analysis, Thermography analysis etc.).
- Computer Competences (i.e.: MS word, MS excell, MS power point, and CMMS software).
- Written and Verbal communication skill.
- Teamwork and Cooperation.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Set up a Mechanical/Electrical- predictive maintenance program including vibration analysis, infrared Thermograph, precision alignment and Ultrasound Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, interpreting oil results due analysis.
- Determine the appropriate test procedure(s) for various pieces of equipment.
- Enter equipment nameplate and bearing information into system.
- Monitors equipment used in Mining industry both Fixed and mobile equipment.
- Ability to use various Monitoring equipment including computerized vibration data collector thermography camera, sound analyser, ultrasonic thickness gauge etc.
- Ability to perform inspection of components using MPI, LPI and Ultrasonic Flaw detection.
- Assists in balancing and alignment.
- Monitors and collects oil and grease samples.
- Assists in preparing action notes and reports.
- Be able to follow monitoring checklists and workorders.
- Be able to identify problems in lube systems, leaks, change in lube colour etc.
- Demonstrate work behaviour consistent with the AGA company values.
- Complete all weekly condition monitoring Plan.
- Report any tool malfunction, damage, or reallocation.
- Ensure all tools are calibrated.
- Keep the tools in safe place and always clean.
- Keep all the tools are updated with any technology consequences.
- Protect and register all tools.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To install underground services such as air lines, water lines, dewatering lines, secondary ventilation fans and vent ducting. Extend Jumbo and pump cables, firing lines and electrical cables. Install grout and tension cables. Working with both electrical submissible and mono pumps in underground as well as Setting up of Underground development headings by using a Light vehicle and perform any other duties as a “go-getter” as assigned by Shift Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have completed Trade Test Grade Level III in Mechanics, Electrical or Fitting or Ordinary Diploma in Mining, Geology, Mechanics & Electrical.
- Valid Tanzanian Driving License. (Driving Manual Transmission Vehicle is Mandatory).
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of operational experience in UG Mining environment.
- Knowledgeable of Underground Mining practices/processes.
- Experience of working Underground as an Offsider or Nipper.
- Experience of operating Underground utility vehicles.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to be easily trainable/quick leaner.
- Be physically and mentally fit and hard working.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Safety:
- Zero Harm, Hazard identification using Take 5 tool, Damage and Safety Incidents reporting and Comply with all Underground Standard Operation Procedures related to the job.
Installation of Services underground:
- Air, water, and dewatering lines – Services installed at 20m closer to face with droppers lifted 1.5m above the ground level.
Installation of Secondary ventilation:
- fan installed at correct location as per approved Installation plan, hang and Extend ventilation bags to at least 20m from the face.
Working with electrical submissible pumps underground:
- Set the pump in the sump or in decline to pump out water, hang and support the pump cable clear off the floor, check that pump in the sumps are operational.
Cleaning of Mono Pumps:
- Check drain valve if operational, hosing with mine pressurized water in the mono tank, cleaning steel step ladders and landing platform, Inspect all connection on the pipes and mono tank.
Installing, Grouting and Tensioning of Cable bolts:
- Safely transport and insert cables into the holes and seal hole collar. Prepare Cement grout mix and grout the cables/holes to standard, perform general housekeeping after the work is completed, apply Tension on the Cable bolt as per required Geotechnical standard.
Hanging and retrieving electrical cables:
- Hanging and retrieving electrical cables – Hang cables on the backs, suspended on the hooks and separated from services, position cables and back-to-back connections to location where it cannot be damaged by moving machinery, hang Jumbo Trail cables on L-pins and install Trail Cable sign on the ground.
Underground Machineries:
- Train and able to operate Articulated Dump Truck, Integrated Tool Carrier (I.T) to transport various items from laydown yard/s to underground areas and Underground Light vehicle.
Setting up of Heading:
- Selecting & loading the correct amount and type of ground support materials (bolts plates, Chemical resins) from bolt store, transport and offload them in the heading; Towing mesh from mesh store to headings and correctly place them on the sidewalls in the heading; Cut and delivery of lifter tubes to the headings that is to be drilled.
Perform other Duties as a “go-getter”
- Tools, consumables and equipment pickup from stores and delivery underground including pumps; Collection of remaining ground support materials from the heading and take them back to bolt stores; Personnel pickups and drop offs (men run); Managing stocks at the underground laydown areas (bolt and mesh stores)
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to drive in Mining environment.
- Blasting License (Supplementary)

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Specialist Environment to join our Environmental team at our Tropicana Gold Mine. Accountable to the Superintendent: Environment Operations, this is offered on a 4 days on, 3 days off roster. Where we offer a direct flight from Perth and a quick commute to camp.
Role Purpose:
To coordinate the environmental activities on site relevant to compliance with regulatory requirements and the maintenance of environmental management systems and processes for continual improvement in
environmental performance.
Accountabilities:
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Providing expert environmental advice to site leadership.
- Developing and implementing environmental improvement strategies.
- Develop budget and forecast plans to achieve key business objectives.
- Managing environmental projects.
- Participating in environmental audits and assessments.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Providing leadership and mentorship in environmental management.
About You

- Experiência de 05 anos em manutenção de ativos de monitoramento geotécnico incluindo sistemas de notificação de emergência (Sirenes) preferencialmente com foco em monitoramento de barragens, pilhas ou estruturas geotécnicas de grande porte.
- Experiência com interpretação e análise de dados de instrumentação geotécnica (piezômetros, inclinômetros, estações totais, etc.).
- Conhecimentos Técnicos em Instrumentação e Sistemas de Alerta e Instrumentação Geotécnica.
- Conhecimentos de TI e Automação Redes de Comunicação.
Requisitos Desejaveis
- Experiência prévia em mineração ou grandes projetos industriais;

O Supervisor de Geotecnia é responsável por garantir a integridade, estabilidade e desempenho operacional de estruturas geotécnicas como taludes, cavas e pilhas, drenagens, acessos, contenções, barragens e demais estruturas de armazenamento de água e sedimentos. Conduz e prioriza as rotinas de manutenção geotécnica com base em risco, assegurando conformidade legal, segurança operacional e eficiência, alinhadas com estratégia da empresa. The Opportunity
AGA have an excellent 2026 offering for an Apprentice: Electrical Maintenance to join the Maintenance team at Tropicana. We are excited to open this up for motivated and reliable individuals to apply to complete this 4-year program and commence a career as an Apprentice within this gold mining operation. These roles are open to school leavers, and anyone who may be looking for a new career opportunity.
Due to a recent completion with our current Apprentice, we have an opening to take on an additional trade.
What You Will Be Doing
As an apprentice at AGA, you will gain invaluable experience by being exposed to a wide range within the electrical trade, including working in the processing plant and underground mining environments.
Classroom training will be provided so that you can successfully and confidently complete your nationally recognised qualification.
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will learn:
- Competency and coursework requirements for UEE30820 – Certificate III in Electro Technology (Electrician)
- Confined Space Entry Training
- Gain HRL EWP, forklift
- Working Safely at Heights Training
- Supporting maintenance tasks in the Processing Plant & Underground Operation as directed by Electrical Maintenance Supervisors
- Support maintaining Crushers, Conveyor systems, Pumps, Ball Mills, HPGR, Vibrating Screens & Feeders, Cranes & Hoists, Cyclones and all associated electrical systems, PLC’s, Instrumentation and Controls. As well as electrical duties, tasks involved in maintaining equipment may also include welding, painting, greasing (lubrication) and fitting work
- Support electrical maintenance tasks in other areas including the Village, Open Pit Mine, Bore Fields and other infrastructure areas
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment and ensure all statutory compliances are met
- Workplace health and safety
- AGAA and site-specific training courses
This programme is to commence over the coming months- on an 8 day on, 6 day off roster at Tropicana Gold Mine. After completing this Apprenticeship, your career as a Qualified Electrical Technician will evolve.
Eligibility
- Have an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Completion of Year 11 or 12 – English and Maths competencies
- An Electrical Pre-App would be highly advantageous

The Total Rewards Specialist will support the ongoing administration and development of AGA’s compensation and benefits programs. This role is ideal for a professional with foundational experience in total rewards who is looking to deepen their expertise across both disciplines in a collaborative and evolving environment.
The Specialist will contribute to the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of our compensation and benefits programs while also assisting with special projects that support the broader goals of the Performance, Reward & Mobility team. Key Responsibilities:
Compensation
- Assist in the job evaluation process by reviewing job descriptions, analyzing job content, and market pricing analysis.
- Participate in compensation benchmarking and survey submissions (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Aon); review results to identify market trends and support pay positioning recommendations.
- Contribute to annual compensation processes, including budget modeling, salary structure updates, and pay-for-performance analysis.
- Support internal equity and external competitiveness analysis by compiling and analyzing compensation data across countries, functions, and job levels.
- Monitor compensation-related legislation and emerging trends; assist in evaluating implications for internal practices and policies.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and the ability to work independently and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work cross-functionally to partner on projects and activities tied to key business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the mining, natural resources, or a similarly structured global industry

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Production Metallurgist to join the team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. This role reporting into the Superintendent: Production Metallurgy.
This is an on-site position based at the well-known Sunrise Dam on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, to which we operate direct flights with a short commute to our sites from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.
Role purpose
The Senior Production Metallurgist is responsible for maximising gold production at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, where the incumbent will lead a team of Production Metallurgists, Metallurgical Technicians and Gold Room Technicians with a focus on the day-to-day optimisation of the processing plant.
Accountabilities
- Demonstrate a strong focus in health, safety and environmental policies to ensure that site, corporate, and legislative requirements for the operation are met
- Lead and coordinate Production Metallurgy, Laboratory and Gold Room duties
- Provide technical guidance, training and mentoring to Metallurgy and Operational team members
- Develop budget and forecast plans to achieve key business objectives
- Review production performance compared to business planning targets and provide actionable options to realign where variance exists
- Oversee and approve metallurgical accounting system outputs, inclusive of production reports
- Identify short to medium term plant improvement projects and develop schedules to evaluate and quantify benefits
About You

We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist Mine Planning (Underground) to join the Australian Business Unit Technical Services Team. Accountable to the Manager: Mining; this role is responsible for providing technical expertise and analysis primarily for the Underground Operations while ensuring integration with the whole of operations.
Here you will develop, review, and support implementation of mine planning, and deliver key planning components of the long-term plan, reserves, mine planning components for projects and studies, ensuring adherence to mining standards and regulatory requirements.
This role is predominantly based in the Perth corporate office on a 5 days on, 2 days off roster however regular site travel to both Australian mines will be required.
Role Purpose:
Conduct life-of-mine and strategic planning and provide mining technical support for all mining activities, mine planning and projects in the Australia Business Unit.
Accountabilities
- Promote a strong safety culture, supporting the AGA safety vision and values, identify and mitigate risks within the mining operations
- Carry out annual reserve reporting requirements, ability to act as Qualified Person for reporting of reserves
- Use highly developed mine design, planning and scheduling skills to develop the life of mine plans and strategic mine plans, considering all relevant planning inputs, corporate guidance, and planning standards, and support the execution of costed Life-of-Mine plans.
- Support Full Potential initiatives, identifying opportunities, and follow up with assisting with implementation, tracking and reporting, helping to drive value creation
- Carry out detailed cost modelling for assessing mining projects and budget analysis
- Support the mine engineering and planning teams on each site and help identify and deliver training needs.
