In this role you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the maintenance team and Contractors conducting plant maintenance
- Planning, organizing, leading and controlling scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
- Conducting planned task observations (PTO) and Safety Interactions (SI)
- Enforcing and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental standards and housekeeping.
- Continuous improvement of plant equipment to reach production targets.
About you:
- Recognised Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical) & N2 with relevant trade subjects
- 5 Years’ working experience in a mining / plant environment

Assistant Training Officer – Learners
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively coordinating and administering the 18.1 and 18.2 Engineering Learnership Program. Assisting the HR department in coordinating the recruitment, selection and onboarding process of learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the compilation of SLP targets for Engineering Learners, taking into consideration current numbers, turnover and employment equity considerations.
- Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of engineering learners and practical trainees.
- Coordinating the placement and training schedules of learners at CTC and Operations.
- Maintaining learner records in accordance with MQA, QCTO, ISO and Learning and Development Policies and Procedures.

- Reviewing Learner feedback to identify areas of improvement.
- Evaluating the Learnership Program and providing inputs for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:

Product Owner

Your training, skills & expertise checklist:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; advanced degree (e.g.; MBA, MSc) or professional certifications in business, risk management or data governance preferred.
- 10+ years of experience including strong delivery of Management (ERM) frameworks and MetricStream solution rollouts.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Enterprise systems in a global organization.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in ERM systems, including strong MetricStream knowledge.
- Knowledge of MetricStream’s ERM features, such as AI driven risk insights, heat maps and compliance automation.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Ability to travel during system implementation and ongoing improvements to the regions.
- Advanced English both written and spoken. French and/or Spanish is beneficial.
