What should you bring along?
- N3 + Trade Test Millwright
- Min 3 years related experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, in an automated production Paint shop environment.
- Professional experience in the field of: Robotics (DURR and Kuka,) experience on PLC systems and AC frequency drives.

Team Leader: Production
Purpose and key accountabilities of the function:
- Ensures and maintains the continuity of operation of all hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment within the Painted Body Plant.
- Ensures and direct that all maintenance work, preventative and emergency, is carried out in accordance with BMW specifications, relevant safety regulations.
- Plans and follows up for production related equipment replacement in conjunction with product requirements, productivity improvements, capacity and capability demands.
- Ensures and is accountable that all safety registers are up to date.
- Identifies, organizes and follows up on staff training with succession planning in mind.
- Decides and recourse utilization within his/her area of responsibility and accountability.
- Develops, establishes, implements and follows up on strategies for maintaining the continuity of production during breakdowns.
- Ensures equipment availability on start-up after equipment has been worked on, by commissioning equipment before start-up.
- It is his/her duty to initiate actions to assure product quality under all circumstances during the production process.
- Establishes Safety Health Environmental related hazards arising out of processes within his/her relevant areas by means of:
- Area walk throughs.
- Co-operation with SHE-Champion during aspects/impacts identification process.
- Ensures that all associates within his/her area are informed regarding hazards and appropriate preventative/corrective actions attached to processes by means of:
- Pep talks.
- Informal meetings.
- Online training sessions.
- Establish Safety, Health and Environmental hazards arising out of process within his/her area by means of:
- Area walk through.
- Hazard identification and Risk Assessment.
- Co-operation with the IMS Representative during aspect/impact identification process.
- Ensures that all associates within your area are informed regarding the latest level and/or developments of Safety, Health and Environmental issues, by means of:
- Pep talks.
- Online training.
- Informal meetings.
- Ensures that personal protective equipment, special equipment and protective clothing is available, issued, appropriately used, maintained and the use thereof enforced to ensure the safety of the associates.
- Continuously address Safety, Health and Environmental impacts from activities through engineering methods, maintenance, workplace improvements, awareness training and enforcing safe working practices.
- Report, record and investigate all incidents and/or accidents which occurred in your area of responsibility, as prescribe by ZA S-13.
- Immediate respond to situations and/or conditions that may result in incidents or injury.
- Has the authority to stop his line in the event of poor quality.
Work and leadership experience:
- Fluent verbal/written in English.
- Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic experience with state-of-the-art technical equipment, facilities and tooling at least 3 years.
- Leadership experience, at least 2 years.
- Experience in application of quality techniques and tools, minimum 2 years.
- Three years’ experience in an Automotive Paint Production Plant preferably with BMW.
- Paint Technology Experience as an added advantage.
- Planning and organising. Leading and supervising.
Experience and qualifications:
- N6 National/Technical Diploma.
- Trade Test. Preferably Millwright.
- Minimum 3 years in Paint Shop Production or Maintenance role.

Employee Centre Advisor
The job grade for this position is ELVI.
Query Management:
- Act as first point of contact for employees on HR Services related topics.
- Is responsible for the overall employee experience on the full range of HR Service Portfolio.
- Offers advice regarding individual HR processes/topics along the employee journey, e.g. social security, tax, payroll, benefits, absences, working time management, certificates.
- Provide accurate and timely resolution to queries based on company policy and procedures.
- Track queries within the ticketing system.
- Forward employee complex inquiries with regards to Payroll, Benefits, Time Management or Global Assignments to Tier 2 specialists when in depth functional knowledge is required.
- Ensure all queries are resolved within the given SLA.
Requests:
- Complete HR related requests with focus on personal administration e.g creating certificates, sending payslips, references, maintaining employee personnel and job related data, archiving data/employee files.
Employee Data Changes:
- Use SAP workflows to process employee job related changes including loading new starters, leavers, promotions and working time changes.
Contract and Letter creation:
- Create new starter contracts, leaver letters, promotion letters and any other contractual documents for local employees and those on Expat Assignment.
- Ensuring documents are posted and emailed in accordance with SLA.
Payslips and Time Statements:
- Send payslip and time statements report to service provider for printing.
- Sort and organise delivery of hardcopy Payslips on a monthly basis ensuring the SLA is met.
Maintaining HR Portal:
- Ensure that all content on the HR Portal is regularly checked for accuracy.
- Update documents/content as required and upload to Portal.
Maintaining knowledge base:
- Update and maintain the knowledge base of employee queries to ensure all potential questions can be answered and that policy and contacts are up to date.
HR Reporting:
- Any ad-hoc reporting required by the business.
Document Management:
- Works with legal and leadership partner to identify any required changes to documents in CCM. Makes relevant changes in contract management tool.
- Ensure all documents are stored on ELIDA for all changes made to SAP HR.
General Administration:
- All general office admin duties including archiving, organisation, correspondence, agendas, minutes, post etc.
- Stationary Ordering – ensure there is always sufficient stock of headed paper, envelopes, Payslips, etc.
Invoices:
- Timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and cross charging to support effective budget management & reporting.
Promote better ways of working:
- Pro-actively look at ways to drive change within the team through simplification, standardisation and automation.
Ad-Hoc Tasks:
- Perform any additional ad-hoc tasks if and when required.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree with financial modules essential.
- SAP HR qualifications are advantageous.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical experience in the field of payroll.
Additional skills and technical ability:
- Good analytical skills and ability to be organized in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Precision oriented with good attention to detail.
- Good Excel skills.
