Job Overview:Despatch Clerk is responsible for ensuring that trucks are loaded, sealed and that the drivers sign for the stock loaded. The Despatch Clerk also ensures that all documentation is completed accurately.
- Assign and track work crews and drivers.
- Ensure the shipping documents are completed and signed for.
- Plan and update the load/delivery plan of trucks.
- Ensure trucks are loaded timeously on a daily basis.
- Ensure that drivers sign all the relevant delivery related documents.
- Ensure on time despatch of the delivery trucks.
- Communicate with the route planners of any changes on the load plan.
- Update the loading and despatch daily report.
- Communicate and update the customers of any possible delays with the deliveries.
Qualifications
- Matric.
- NQF level 5 Certificate in supply chain and/or General office administration would be advantageous.

Job Overview:The primary responsibility of this position is to shunt trucks on the premises.
- Ensuring the safe movement of large vehicles and trailers around the site
- Assist with the truck inspection and report deviations to the Despatch Supervisor
- Assist with Hygiene Cleaning of loading areas
- Ensure all truck equipment is correct for the required load before final parking
- Must be prepared to stand in for other shunters
- Assist with loads to clients when necessary
- Assist with any reasonable task as required by the Despatch Supervisor
- Responsible for moving trucks into and out of wash bay for cleaning as required
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
- Completing safety assessments
- Inspecting vehicles and trailers
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Safely parking trailers
- Moving laden and un-laden trailers
Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License and PDP
- Excellent work ethics
- Team player
- Must possess initiative and drive
- Energetic
- Good time management skills
- Customer service orientated mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces
