About the Role

The Payments team oversees all payment products, including both Card and Electronic Payments. This encompasses the entire payments landscape, covering systems, processing, and business aspects. Within this framework, the Payments Data Strategy team is dedicated to managing all data-related activities. Our focus areas include data strategy, forecasting and predictive modeling, insights and business analysis, as well as monitoring and reporting. By utilizing data analysis and visualization tools, the Business Intelligence Analyst will generate actionable business insights that drive tangible value for the organization. This role involves influencing and supporting the organization in making data-driven decisions that enhance performance, optimize operations, and drive growth. 

Education (Minimum)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Statistics

Education (Ideal or Preferred)

• Certification in Business Analysis

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience as Business Intelligence Analyst or equivalent (data analyst etc.) including experience in data analytics, BI methods and tools, data warehousing and the data life cycle.
• Experience in identifying, quantifying, and subsequently delivering value on how to solve business challenges using data 
• Experience with stakeholder engagement 
• Experience in working with data on cloud platforms, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure 
• Experience in building data visualisations using tools such as Power BI 
• Experience of using SQL to prepare and analyse data

Knowledge:

• Knowledge and basic experience in using low/no code AutoML on modelling tools such as Power BI or AWS Sagemaker  
• Design thinking

• The Data Product Life Cycle (DPLC)
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practices

About the Role

As the Software Development Manager for the treasury team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our treasury department. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating current systems, determining the best solutions and integrating various treasury functions. You will also be responsible for recruiting and managing a new team, collaborating closely with business leaders to understand and enable business processes. This role requires a strong business focus, technical experience, and a passion for the treasury environment

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development management.
• 5-8 years of experience in treasury management

About The Role

Through analysis, aim to identify anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations that mitigate risk, reduce financial losses, and protect both customers and stakeholders from the impact of fraudulent behaviour. Extracting, analysing, and linking of data from multiple sources and systems to detect fraud trends that will influence strategy and the writing of expert fraud rules. Implementing and operationalizing fraud mitigation and analysing the effectiveness thereof through dashboards and metrics.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in fraud detection
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to identify anomalies and patterns.
• Experience in fraud detection.
• Proficiency in SQL querying and database extraction.
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning).
• Data visualization skills, preferably in Power BI.
• Python proficiency is not a strict requirement but would be a nice-to-have.
