REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ LLB Degree. Excellent communication Skills

independently. Knowledge on contract Management. Problem solving /conflict resolution and
negotiation skills. Project Management skills. 5-8 years or more relevant (Contract

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Coordinate activities and sequences associated with contracts
administration. Develop and implement contract management policies within the municipality.
Develop Service Level Agreements (SLA) for all contracted service providers in line with
applicable laws. Attend to the administrative, reporting and record-keeping requirements.
Prepare and packaging project documents of the AG or Internal Audits in box files per project.
Interact with various institutions to ensure that the execution of the post responsibilities are
met. Prepares considered, high quality draft written communications including
correspondence, pleadings, legal memoranda, legal opinions and legislation. Oversee legal
matters requiring external legal assistance.

skills. Computer skills. Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience. Driver’s Licence (Code C1).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Perform tasks and activities associated with geo-hydrological
services by assisting geo-hydrologist by working with computers or files to store information.
Using geo-hydrological measuring, testing and collecting equipment and other technical
equipment. Utilising tested and proven methods of improving the quality of water.
Contributing to public and hygienic environment and establishing data base (aquifer).
Monitoring borehole drilling process to quantify depth measurements. Implementing ground
water protocol (pollution/contamination) in Collaboration with Water Quality Section.
Monitoring ground water levels and abstraction rate. Analysing and interpreting Environmental
Impact Assessments (EIA) and geo-hydrological reports and applying for abstraction licences.
Managing ground water data-base. Overseeing the implementation of applicable regulations
regarding water licensing.

REQUIREMENTS:
National Diploma or B Com Degree in Financial Accounting/Transport Economics/
Property Assets Management/ Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management or
Economics. In-depth knowledge of Generally Recognised Accounting Practice (GRAP)
and SA GAAP. Knowledge of MFMA and other financial regulations and legislations
governing the Local Government. Computer literacy (Proficient in Microsoft Office
and MS Excel). Excellent communication skills and Good interpersonal relations
skills, organising and coordination skills. Minimum of 4-5 years relevant experience
in Supply Chain Management. Valid driver’s license.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Assisting in the development and implementation of
the municipality’s Inventory Management Policy. Providing guidelines that employees
of the municipality must follow in the management and control of inventory, including
safeguarding and disposal of inventory. Ensuring that inventory is positioned to
facilitate efficient handling and checking. Compile a detailed inventory register that is
GRAP compliant. Performing monthly ledger reconciliation and submit same to the
immediate superior for approval. Maintaining and updating Asset Module. Ensuring
that inventory is properly disclosed on the Annual Financial Statements. Preparing
Audit file for both internal and external auditors and makes available information,
supporting documentation and proofs of approval guiding specific inventory
recordings, movements, and/or allocations. Manage the key performance areas and
critical outputs of subordinates within the unit.
